VBS Bank I Affidavit lays out extent of looting involving high ranking politicians

The EFF allegedly received about R16 million in donations from the now defunct VBS Mutual Bank.
This is according to an affidavit submitted by former VBS chairperson, Tshifhiwa Matodzi.
Matodzi has been sentenced to an effective 15 year imprisonment after entering into a plea agreement, pleading guilty to several charges that related to the collapse of the bank.
Hawks Head Godfrey Lebeya says anyone, regardless of their political affiliations, who have had their hand in the cookie jar, will be visited. While the numerous officials implicated in widespread corruption at VBS are living large on their ill-gotten gains, the victims of that crime have a different story to tell.
A minority shareholder, Madambi Muvhulawa, says he welcomes Matodzi's sentencing, but expressed disappointment at the slow pace of recouping investors' money...

Those of you running along with this story are in for a rude awakening. The said affidavit was drafted by a criminal, at his own comfort with the help of his attorneys, was never tested by the alleged parties, has no supporting documents from the custodians of the mentioned records, or oral depositions to that effect in support by the custodians of the records of the said transactions, I mean what are you all hyped up with? This is a person who wanted a leaner sentence so fabricated a story knowingly of the powers of an affidavit in a court especially when you give the state prosecution what they want which is a conviction. People, go to courts and start acquainting yourselves with the principles of your laws, how they work and what value and weight is given to what. Speaking from Botswana here where people self act in courts and get first hand experience.
