VC's Excellence Award for Professional Staff - Curtin Malaysia Education Outreach Team

Congratulations to our staff who won the Curtin Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award for Professional Staff (Global Campuses) for their participation in the the Ekspo Pendidikan Sarawak (Education Outreach Program) organised by the Sarawak Foundation on 8 July 2023.
Curtin Malaysia’s partnership with the Sarawak Foundation has resulted in several significant contributions and achievements, mainly in improving access to higher education for students from lower-income groups in Sarawak. The team worked to help create awareness of access to higher education and availability of financial aid offered by the Foundation, specifically the BP40 program.
Their dedication in representing Curtin at 42 locations across Sarawak is commendable. This accomplishment not only strengthens our institution's presence but also highlights the pivotal role Curtin Malaysia plays among the institutions owned by the Sarawak Government.
Their effort has encouraged more underprivileged students in Sarawak to pursue higher education, breaking down financial barriers that previously hindered their educational aspirations.
