VCDS MOD - Audi A4 B8 - Drive Select activation

I would suggest that anyone doing this should take a copy of the coding before carrying out any changes. Copy and paste the coding into clip board so you can revert the changes if things dont work correctly.

You also have Tou change channel 64 65 and 66 to number 4. Then you feel the difference

This works only if you have at least the MMi3G+ Witht the MMI3G Basic it does not work.

I did that to my a5, and i got that manu on screen, but while driving the car reacts the same with all settings

All it does in "dynamic" is basically put your car in Sports mode without moving the shifter... this is a useless mod and waste of time, at least for automatic cars. Some manual users reported the throttle responds better.

@@ZeiDSky its because your vehicle isn't factory fitted with the correct suspension components, so of course it wont do anything, and most of all you need the magnetic suspension.

Ahoj, to jde do každé A4 B8? I před faceliftem? Nezáleží na výbavě? Zatím mám A4 B6, ale abych věděl jakou někdy do budoucna vybírat... :) A nastavení Coming a leaving home jde taky u každé výbavy B8? Díky moc

Zdravím, nastavení motoru comfort/dynamic jde na každé B8 .. co se týče nastavení řízení, tam musí výbava obsahovat Servotronic, aby šlo přepínat mezi jizdními režimy.. Co se týče coming a leaving home, to musí vozidlo obsahovat senzor na čelním skle, který pozná zda je venku světlo či tma.. bez něj to bohužel nejde.

Yes you can as long as you have a MMI.BUT this ability is just for feel good if your car do not have hardware to support the drive mod change. If you want you can change to S OR RS start screen by using hidden menu.

I’m wondering, I’ve seen retrofit for Drive select, where you can buy the buttons under the A/c and activate it in VCDS. But what if your car didn’t come with drive select from factory, what happens to the steering, suspension? So the only available options then would be the gearbox & throttle only?
