Rob, saw this pop up a few hours ago - and didn't have the opportunity until now to sit back and enjoy. Had a smile on my face the whole time - the last two days have been rough, and this was great timing. Really happy that you are enjoying those records - that Ministry always deserves to be cranked up loud!!!! :) Thanks for the rad video, Rob. - Bret

I'm diggin everything so far, Kevin, including the stout! Bret went above and beyond, and I love him for it. Thanks for the info about AZ info. As far as Amoeba goes, I'll gladly visit either one I ever get near! Thanks Kev!

Rob I just wanted to chime in on this response as well. It was nice to see this VCLT from Bret. I must say that Love and Rockets were one of those bands that I never talked about enough. So many awesome songs. Bret is one of the nicest guys I have ever met in this community. Never a bad thing to say about anything. Just pleasant all the way. Sort of like yourself Rob. Enjoy them. I hope you had some good luck today if you tackled RSD. Talk to you soon~ TOR/Boston

I'm glad to hear that this helped lift your mood, Bret. I am most definitely enjoying the records and have cranked that Ministry 12" numerous times. Seriously! Once again, man, thanks so much. Sorry it took me a while to get this recorded and uploaded. Hope you're still digging some of the stuff that I sent your way. Ain't the VCLT grand? Always great to hear from you, my friend.

Amen! There should be VC "field trips" or package tours to Amoeba. They seem to have package tours to all sorts of other places in the world, so why not?!

Oh man! Sooooo tempting! I definitely need to find some "reason" to travel out there. Digging there with you would just make it THAT much cooler!

It's from an album called Stāvi by a Latvian artist named Jānis Žilde. Really good stuff.

Hey John! The Amoeba bag was a real treat. I need to figure out how to get some of these bags on the wall or something. Some of them are just too cool!

Hi Rob. As long as we're throwing around compliments about nice guys (and thank you for including me among them!) we should not forget you. I meant what I said on FB about you being the bloodstream of the VC. I hope I'll get to meet you, face to face, some day. That would be a great day! All my best. TOR/Chicago

Just slipped under the radar however now he's on the radar its only a matter of time. Funnily enough my wife likes(d) Bauhaus back in the day. Bret got Forever Running(Their debut and only real album and even then it has a bit of an odd gestation!) a couple of weeks ago and put it up on FB!!!

Rob , I was looking at the exact same record bag from Amoeba yesterday in Those Old Records in Rugeley where Chris the owner had displayed it on the counter. One significant area where i have no overlap at all with you and Bret music wise is Bauhaus other than one of Peter Murphys collaborators after Bauhaus lived near me and was in B Movie which ive said before - John

Hey Barry. I got the shirt from Jeff - glowing00cabbage. He posted a comment below so, if you find that, it would take you directly to his channel. He has a video in there somewhere about the shirt and how to order one. Thanks for watching!

Yeah Rob, take a swig of that sweet, creamy stout! A sandwich in every glass. Bret is a class dude, with great taste in music. The LA Amoeba store is the one to visit Rob. It's HUGE. IIRC, Scottsdale Rd. south of Camelback is Old Town Scottsdale. A fun little memory jog there I think I got right. I'm jealous you have Pop on vinyl. Trust me, you will like the L&R. Cheers Rob!

I got into VC via 'Whats in my bag?' Ameoba series MAN! I'D LOVE TO GO THERE! Have you been since making this video Rob? How long a road trip would it take you? Hope you read this message a year and a half too late. Just watching some older videos of various people playing catch-up.

Good eye, Henry! Did you spot the new Depeche Mode back there, too? It was up by the turntable. Trust me, if I ever made it to Amoeba, there WILL be a report!!

You could try cardboard on the inside of the bag and the folding it over the cardboard to frame. Not sure if that will work. I've never owned a bag I wanted to enshrine. ha.

I'm not sure how you'll feel about Ministry but I'll tell you what... I'm on your way from Finland to either of the Amoeba stores... Fly here and get a connecting flight from Chicago's O'Hare Airport to California, and I'll join you! ;-)

Were you just not that into Bauhaus/Peter Murphy, John? Or was it simply one of those bands that slipped past your radar? Did I ever tell you that I found a B Movie record? I meant to post it on FB and tag you but I don't think I ever did. 'Forever Running' - their debut, I think.
