It's a lot of fun to watch a ride of such a group of recumbent trikes and bikes! Thanks for sharing! :)

I ride a Sun Sport AX, two wheeled recumbent. Have since 2007, with flags, lights and review mirrors, but I still pay attention too what is going on around me, so no head phones or ear buds. Today I got a new helmet to replace the one I got back in 2012, and I always wear a helmet, just does not feel right too be on a bike with out one. So when you are out riding. Stay alert and keep your head on a swivel and try too stay as far right as you can. Be safe and stay warm. Keep the fleshy side up and the rubber side down.

Great group. Be super safe.!!! With the recent tragic death of cross country recumbent trike rider James Dobson in Mississippi, we must all double down and adopt maximum safety precautions so that vehicles coming up from behind us can see us ASAP. Two LONG parallel whips are prudent to have, but with spiral kite tails or brightly colored wind socks on a short tether so they can dance around actively and be seen sooner than flags. At a 6 foot height or higher, you can bridge the two parallel whips with a stem or two and have a bright flashing light mounted and pointed to the rear so even stacked up vehicles can see you from as far away as possible. James Dobson was hit from behind by a young driver in a 2016 Dodge Challenger just before 1:00 p.m. on Highway 98 just short of WPA Road and headed west while west of Hattiesburg. A leading vehicle swerved to miss him, but a closely following second vehicle failed to do the same. James Dobson was a truly giving recumbent trike rider and added so much life and energy to the activity. We will all miss him, but I trust we will take his ultimate sacrifice and adopt extra care and extra safety precautions as a result.

Hi Rollee, can you please share with me the brand/model of your riding shoes? Thanks, Gary

Gary, I got this at REI. They are made of leather. I don't know the model, but try to go to REI website and search. Or, try Amazon.

@@Rollyman Are they sold as "cycling" shoes, or something more general? You're riding platform pedals, right? Thanks!
