Usually just means you have to play a more defensive setup, calcified spikes over ascending flame is a big one and you can potentially drop focused cleave for soulmonger if you're really hurting.

Hey - just wondering what build you would suggest as I don't have Stonescales trinket yet? I've been dropping Vulnerability and Soulcrush to take Last Resort and Darkglare but not sure if it's the right move

I would just play no cheat death in that situation especially in lower keys but it might result in some depletes.

are you sure extended spikes giving more spikes uptime than feed th demon? With 40% haste it seemed like feed the demon is outperforming extended spikes by a lot

Extended spikes is better than 1 point in FTD and it’s legit not even close sir. Let’s assume 60 souls/minute, which is the average in keys. 60x0.25=15s of CDR. 15s = 1 Extra Spike usage/minute from FTD. Extended spikes = 2s increase/usage. Base usage 6s, +2s means 33% increase. That means after 3 usages u have the same value of 1 point FTD. With an average of 4.5-5 casts/minute on spikes you outvalue FTD every time

I would never recommend going for 2 points into FTD if you're not doing Last Resort build (which you shouldn't until very high fortified keys). Extended spikes is just that much better of a talent. But yea like @Shanedh you gain much more value of Extended Spikes than FTD.

If you don't consider the flexibility aspect of FTD, then extended is better until like 15+ targets. IMO the closer choice is FTD vs Darkglare but I've been on all 3 sides of the fence at different points so /shrug.

Tbh i still use cycle. I still notice having utility for every pack 1-2 times per sigil type. Feels weird not getting cdr as well. Running normal stuff from last season still

After testing a bunch of builds, I think all the builds are viable but no cycle is still my preferred most of the time.

I think all builds are actually pretty close right now, just play what you feel. No SPB might disappoint you if you do massive pulls though.

soulmonger is kinda bad in higher keys because you need to be at 100% hp to benefit from it

easiest or best? Easiest is guardian druid, especially if you don’t bother to heal teammates with dream of cenarius. Vdh definitely has the most complex damage rotation of any tank, more complex than many dps even (heh, bm hunter).

I mean the rotation isnt super complex, but when you compile utility so your groups dont die and surviving, its quite a lot, not as much as like brew but its more than most tanks
