I'm sorry to hear about what KZbin did with your monetization D: I agree with you that translating, editing and compiling (all the work that you literally do) IS worth monetization because it does add SIGNIFICANT value to the original work. You're helping people who don't understand Japanese or may not fully understand Japanese be exposed to other livers and frankly having fun watching them!
