Cardamom - 3, without the outer peel
Bay leaves - 2-3 (optional)
Cloves - 4
Onion - 1 big
Tomato - 1 big
Ginger garlic paste - 4 garlic and 1 small piece ginger
Turmeric powder - ½ tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 ½ tbsp
Chilly powder - ¾ tbsp or as per taste
Cumin powder - less than ½ tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tbsp
Asafoetida powder - ¼ tbsp
Black salt - ¼ tbsp
For seasoning
Garlic - 2 big cloves
Cumin powder - ½ tsp
Green chilly - 2
Oil
Salt
