@nisantiskyline It is a VCM7 Camshaft, specs are 232/234 112 .598 .598, a lot of cams are out now, they're mostly the same, not much difference in them, all different specs, depending on what you want it for,

@03vyCLUB It has been tuned. It still does pop and crackle on down shift, but that is due to the size of the cam and the exhaust size and the mafless tune.

When this was taken they were stock 3.45 gears, it wasn't till later I changed them to 3.7. It was a pretty good cam. Made good power and was pretty good as a daily too

If you've seen anything new, you'd notice the badge has been removed, it's an individuals choice anyway. If Holden made their badges a little bit smaller, they'd find more would keep them on

Once you change the cam you will need to get it tuned again, as your timing will be out, if you're going to do it, get an OTR at the same time and get it mafless tuned.

@ih84rs Hey Mate, Holden don't do it, but walkinshaw do, but your performance mechanic will too, but will need a dyno to tune it on too, as once you upgrade your cam, exhaust etc you will need to get it tuned.

@ugurbuzn69 What are the specs of the stage 4 cam? Being a VY it would be a gen 3 5.7ltr, they are a little different to the gen 4 6.0ltr. But they do run the same camshafts. If you can give us te cam specs then we will be able to give our comments, otherwise you can go to .ls1.com.au and join there, a lot of knowledgable people on there.

It's funny how people say all this shit about Chevy when almost everyone loves the LS1 which is Chevy and was responsible for one of the best upgrade jumps between the shitty old 304 (possibly one of THE worst V8's in history lol) and the 350. I always drove Holden and always loved Chevy, they compliment each other and make great cars.. together.. My VY has a Chevy badge and my VZ has one too and I'm proud to show respect to a great motor builder.. what would you do buy a VY put a shitty old 304 in it... spen 10k on the motor just to get the same power as a stock LS1 without extractors lol just doesn't make sense.. but at least you could say it was an all Australian car lmao
