NASA Plans To Send Mission To Proxima Centauri In 2069
NASA wants to send a spacecraft to Proxima Centauri, Earth’s nearest stellar neighbor, in the next 50 years or so.
Scientists from the U.S. space agency recently presented a paper at the American Geophysical Union’s Fall 2017 meeting in New Orleans, discussing the same. The researchers talked about a possible future mission, which would need a spacecraft traveling at a tenth of the speed of light. The agency is working on developing such a spacecraft by 2069.

I did that once Went straight into venus without any orbit i used The atmosphere and A descent stage to land and entered at 1000 MS and it was really hard to pull of

The interstellar transfer was inefficient, you could've used jupiter for a gravity assist. Other than that, great video!

Light years measure the distance light can travel in a year. Say like if you were traveling to a space object 5 light years away. If you are traveling at the speed of light, it will take 5 years to get to your destination.
