Like many Nigerians and Africans, I was raised with lies about who we are as a people, who my ancestors were, and who the colonial imperialists were. We were taught to exalt the people who robbed us of our identity and lord our long-time oppressors. But right now, we know the truth and we will reclaim our place. Thank you so much Vector and MI Abaga for this beautiful and powerful music that speaks directly to the soul. I really hope that the lyrics of this song charge us to start asking the right questions (like, who the f*ck is Mungo Park), and demand the decolonisation of all aspects of our systems. From education to media, and from religion to leadership. We need to change! I'm Afrikan; I'm blessed. Àse 🙌🏽

this song is just too GOOD. sadly, most nigerians do not appreciate rap and it hurts me so much. people don't get how HARD this song. Any soul that comes across this song would feel it. no matter your colour, background, etc you would KNOW THIS IS GOOD MUSIC. i hope nigerians see how good it feels when we come together to make something. this song is a true definition of unity. shoutout to MI and Vector on this. I would say it again. THIS IS A FUCKING BIG TUNE! ITS NOT NORMAL! YOU DON'T COME ACROSS SUCH TUNES LIKE THIS EASILY AND THEY MADE IT LOOK SO EASY. nigerians pls take your time to listen to proper music that embraces who we are, our heritage, culture, and lets appreciate who we are!

These 2 rap kings had it coming for a long time, there you have them bursting an epic rhymes and metaphorically telling us about the Africa's pride.
