Wow, I asked you guys, and you listened! with only one ear! Now what happens to these unhappy Vcarvers who use vacuum pods? No support again? All those guys with clamps get the keep out tool and I don't? How many gaskets I have to rip through to be heard..? Oh that's great now I can import with one combined single button! Hello Andrius... you sould be able to use the keepout zones with your vacuum pods. I would download the trial version and give it a shot. If it does not work as expected please email [e-mail] and we sould be able to sort it out. Actually the unified import is a really helful for those that are new to the software or are experienced and like to save the mouse miles... :)

Purchased and installed (Desktop) - and the new interface is very responsive and crisp. Somewhat deflated to find out that the new V-inlay tool is only for VCarve Pro upwards - difficult for a hobbyist to justify an additional £300+ . Ah well.

In the VCarve Inlay toolpath strategy you need to choose a V-Bit... that will give you the most detail in the final part.

Hello, the software is good but I think what the program lacks is that it can be programmed in "G17 G18 and G19" plans And you can configure a Multi Drill head for vertical and horizontal holes I think these are the main tools that are missing for those who have a CNC with Multi Drill or with aggregates they are great tools and very important and if aspire bet on this it would be a complete program and many companies would buy the software

Good but most of it is already there , it’s more user interface than anything … still not zero location bed or surface down on bottom left , so you’ve still got to go to edit to view if you are working from the bed or surface

Disappointed to see no impovement again in a key area for output - toolpath tabs. They are essential when cutting small components from sheet stock yet so very time consuming to add with the available options. The given options just don't work IRL. When you've got a sheet stacked full of close parts, you either have to add all the tabs manually, so that tabs from adjacent parts sit opposite each other so that they don't get cut through, or use the automated options and hope for the best. The way the auto tabs are placed need to consider this. They need to be smarter. It would aso be nice to draw lines across the drawing to add manual tabs across a given band, rather than having to click on each line. This would save stacks of time when dealing with nested sheets of small organic shapes (non identical). Happy to give more feedback over the phone/email

I sadly must agree. Having upgraded for years now, I have an already huge investment in Aspire but I ca n’t justify this amount of money on top of all the previous money spent. As much as I love you folks, I will stick with v11.5 and Fusion 360.

Hello Michele, thanks for your comment. We have had the same upgrade policy for years now, and has not changed. We feel that it is very fair but also understand it is not for everyone, and that is one of the benifits of owning your software. You can still use v11.5, untill you see a benifit of upgrading.

Yes, I agree it is expensive, but Vectric is one of the last few companies that don't force you into upgrades (upgrade when you want to), don't force you into the cloud, and don't force you into subscriptions. With all those advantages and savings compared to other companies, the price is actually not that expensive. It is not cheap to develop good software, and Vectric has to make money to stay in business.

Fully agree if you buy the program for the first time. One fourth for an upgrade, even if very good, is too much. Would be fair with a good laser section simulating lightburn​@@zoltan8922
