The metaphoric question about the bowl of nectar and how we would prefer to relate to it (from the edge or jumping right in) stuck with me. The questions that arose for me in response to this video relate to my status as a mother with sole responsibility, my effort to integrate expanded consciousness (if not transcendence) into more moments of my life, and the relationship between Brahman and the Tao, with me feeling that the concept of Tao is easier to apply in my life circumstance not as a monk but a mother. Anyway, my questions landed in this realm and were answered by Swami's lecture on the Divinity Within. Thank you.

The relation of the Hindu scriptures to our daily lives and the world around us is something many (even many from traditional Hindu families) struggle to establish. These lectures by the learned scholar are really useful. What is rather inaccessible given the cultural practices which are often described in response to religious questions, it comes across directly via such talks. To say the least, we are all grateful.
