Work culture is something that employees establish. In the name of flexible hours, the company made us work beyond paid hours. Then came a guy who, to get good appraisal, started working on weekends as well. This continued for a year until he left for further studies but then the HOD started expecting other employees to give their time beyond the role, responsibilities and even paid hours. To get recognition, most started following them and then NOT working during the weekends became an invitation to the punishment. And not to mention, no appraisal whatsoever. Its been 10 days today that I left that culture to learn something more and try shaping my career somewhere else. If an employee overdo themselves, it becomes a standard for others.

Simple stuff is to hire more employees and divide work. Par uss se CEO ki salary baaki employees ke aas paas aa jayegi jo unki ego ko raaz nahi aayega. Bohot top companies hai jinke CEO ki salary 10x 100x ho gayi par base package ka increase inflation bhi beat nahi kar paya hai.

I have friends in MNCs too but these days schools have become another MNCs. Exploitation is at its peak in schools. We, teachers are called even on some gazetted holidays. We are 24/7 Available for parents. Smallest of concerns which should be dealt by parents themselves are brought to school and to teachers..... kindly make a video on that too...that's need to be highlighted

I have an experience of 10.9 years in this industry and I can tell you that most of the things that have been discussed in this video are correct except for a few points. 1. People work more not because they are forced to do so but they don't want to upskill themselves and embrace automation. 2. Some people don't work on their physical health and priorities work only with a dull brain. 3. People don't enjoy what they are doing and love to do patching work instead of going deeper. 4. Managers are mostly stupid who love rats rather than praising actual talents ( I haven't faced one ever , I was lucky) Apart from one this one gotta be a good politician in order to survive and trust me you have to have good skill and communication too alongside. I haven't worked an entire 9 hours except for a few days in my entire career and I am doing fantastic. It's not always true about IT that you have to burn your midnight oil. I know many people like me. You should know how to outsmart people. One suggestion: play chess regularly 😂

I think high working hours isn’t the only problem yes work hours should be less but with than ur relationship time (with family friends) ur physical health (gym sports) mental health (movies writing reading exploring )ur diet (fruits vegetables protein supplements)ur relaxation(massage, bath, music, dance)ur sleep (8-9 hrs)all matter to sustain that .long working hours are doable but sustaining that is the big issue so that u need all this and include long term healthy sustainable practices to keep ur going not junk but healthy nutritious food not doom scrolling but meaningful learning and entertainment not alcohol or partying to socialise but sports and outdoor activities by this not only we can increase productivity but create a environment which is soothing nurturing for all and aids in growth of good businesses practices and country.

Dear Vedant, I am writing to you with a heavy heart, pleading for your urgent attention to recent two horrific cases occurred in Gujarat. The first case: A 10-year-old innocent girl was brutally @s*aulted by a 36-year-old man. He inflicted unimaginable cruelty upon her, he r***d her, inserting a rod into her private parts, causing critical injuries to her internal organs. This led to sepsis, two cardiac arrests, multiple organ failure, and ultimately, a most agonizing d*ath. The second case: A 71-year-old woman, already a victim of r**e, was re-traumatized when her r**ist, out on bail, committed the heinous act again. These cases are not just statistics; they represent the shattered lives of innocent victims and the utter failure of our justice system. The 10-year-old's case: Highlights the vulnerability of children and the urgent need for stricter laws and harsher punishments for child s**ual abusers. The 71-year-old's case: Exposes the flaws in our bail system and the lack of protection for vulnerable women. These cases deserve to be heard. They deserve justice. I beg you, Vedant, to use your powerful platform to: Amplify these stories: Bring these tragedies to the forefront of public discourse. Demand justice: Advocate for stricter laws and harsher punishments for perpetrators of s**ual violence. Raise awareness: Educate the public about the dangers of child s**ual abuse and the importance of women's safety. Your voice can make a difference.

I disagree with the 'Karm hee Dharm hai' being blamed here. The toxic work culture is because of greed. I have worked in both the public and private sectors. And in the private sector I have seen managers adding new responsibilities to their team members' KRAs and then later on showing all of that during appraisals as work done under them to get big hikes. That high workload is not due to sense of duty but due to greed.
