Sir what if we cut the wire of base in common base transistor...what I mean actually is what if there is no base current

If base current is zero then collector current is zero, eventually emitter current also zero. Alpha = ic/ib ib (Alpha)= ic If base current is zero then 0(Alpha)= ic ic=0 ie=ib+ic ie =0+0=0
