Honestly Cyber Dragon as an archetype has all the potential in the world. If we get just 2 or 3 good cards that make the deck better, we could probably already start competing again. Just imagine a "Cybernetic Multiplication" that summons 2 Cyber Dragon monsters of the same level from the deck, grave and/or banished cards if you control a face-up Cyber Dragon monster. Or a Cyber Dragon monster that can special summon itself from the hand if you control a Cyber Dragon monster, becomes level 5 while on the field and if summoned by its effect searches for a Cyber Dragon monster. The impact just 2 or 3 really strong cards could have on the deck is amazing.

For me it doesn’t matter if you 100 millions cyber dragon decks/combos. I’ve always loved the deck and will always keep loving.

Dumb question probably but how do you make Yu gi oh combos? Are the combos discovered from hours of play-testing? Is the end board just reverse-engineered to 2 or 3 cards that can get you to the board? Are the combos just obvious if you have competitive experience? I see all these combos that involve like 20 cards and put half your deck into the GY to get these crazy boards and I’m always at a loss for words for how on earth somebody came up with it.

Great question, and there kind of is no answer. I want to take the time to reflect upon this so I could maybe make a full video of "How to come up with combos in yugioh", but for the most part it is associated with trying to think of an end board, and giving yourself an infinite amount of card pool to make it. After each step, add constraints to your cardpool, like "less bricks", "more generic/searchable cards", "no sacky 1 ofs like soul charge", etc. The reverse engineer strategy definitely also applies here

@@yacine656 I mean for the "free summon" part. Turn a possible liability of carrier into a fusion monster that can't used as Fusion material, so even in game 2 if you pop off, you can be confident you won't get hit with megafleet
