2.26 mins before you can apply the lock most people unless drunk will have hit you with the other hand. Most locks won't work unless you strike them first to control the mind. Control the head to control the body- pain is compliance. Great video as always.

I love all the self defense moves where you have to grab a hand. When someone doesn't want you to grab their hand these grabs will not work 99% of the time. I guess against a drunk person it will work.

i was cornered in my apartment lobby by two thugs i am a pensioner, I was brought down, my damage was minimal probly because the attacker got tired and the other didnt join in. Ive heard of a wobbler kick to the back of shins but you gotta get close for that and risk catching a head butt

Clavicle. Takes very few pounds of pressure to break. And after you snap his clavicle......... that arm is unusable.

Yes if you are tall enough to reach their collar bone. A kick to the knee can immobilize your attacker. Not many people can fight while trying to balance on one leg.

No one grabs from the front unless to threaten you with a knife/gun. Maybe they didvthatvin the 40s-50s but not today, best to train to get out of a rear grab/choke.

As an experienced street fighter. Nobody is going to start a fight by putting their hand on your chest. The trick is to get ahold of the hand, wrist or arm while moving to the outside to avoid getting hit by the free hand. A feint to one side and a quick shift to the opposite side has worked for me a few times. As a kid one of the arts i studied was old fashioned Jyu Jitsu… the style emphasized an aikido like displacement as well as joint and tendon attacks for quick incapacitation. At 77 my preferred form of martial art is OC spray, pocket knife and Glock 43 XL.

Thanks for the info! I have never taken a MA class. So, I would like to see a video on what part of your foot should be hitting his knee. The heel? The ball? The side? I assume not the top. Does it vary based on type of kick?

Turn your SPEAKERS OFF! The feedback is ridiculous, and you do not need the speakers for the mic to work during recording. Turn off the amp, if the speakers are passive, or turn off the speaker itself, if they are active powered speakers. Please.
@jonsmith2076626 күн бұрын
I was able to hear David while he was recording this. And I live in England.🏴
@SherwoodPrepper125 күн бұрын
@@jonsmith20766 You're missing the point. For the purpose of recording, he doesn't need the speakers to be on, only the mic and mixer. With the mic on and in front of the speakers, there is a persistent hi-frequency feedback that is causing a distraction. He probably doesn't know any better, because he's not an audio engineer. So, I'm giving him the best advice for the sake of his recording. You being in England is irrelevant to the issue. This isn't the first video where the hi-frequency feedback as been a distraction.
@jonsmith2076625 күн бұрын

You still wouldn't have a chance with those moves for a woman, There is one thing that works better than all those moves, It's as simple as lifting one foot and if you got high heals or not, and stepping as hard as you can on the persons instep., sliding your foot down the shins won't hurt you, They won't be walking or chasing after anyone for a long time, And the pain they receive will make them scream, cry and roll around on the grd, They will be in a cast for a long time,
