Thank you for the wonderful video. I have an Aikido background. I have a familiarity with locks. You are right. There are many locks that won't work on the street. There is no cooperative uke on the streets. Much love and respect to Professor David and Shihan Kenny.

Aikido is a watered down version of Aikijujutsu. Jujutsu focused on striking and unbalancing (atemi) to set up finishing locks.

I'm glad I found y'all's channel!! I used to watch the crap y'all talk about that no one is going to let you do to them. Now I clearly see the difference. Thanks for what y'all are doing

Poor Kenny 😢 This is quite remarkable. These basic but brutally effective techniques are hidden in karate kata (except that most karateka nowadays neither recognize them nor practice them).

From what I've seen so far. It's very similar to Wing Chun. These techniques could fix bad Wing Chun. Okay, who am I kidding. There is no good Wing Chun. 😂 I just thought I'd mention that, and you and Kenny are awesome 😎
