Ferro cement means cement mortar over wire mesh. For ceiling concrete, we are using steel moulds in Madurai for the past 30 years. In Madurai Thiagarajar College of Engineering, all the buildings for Electronics dept, Computer science dept and Architectural dept are built with this under the supervision of Prof. V. Muthu and Prof CR. Rajamanickam . I was also doing the role of site Engineer. All of us are teaching faculty in Civil Engineering department. During 1970-80s Civil engineering faculties are experienced in practical knowledge also.
