Hi Vee: I will try not to be as loquacious as usual. 1. Party - ABSOLUTELY!!!! Why? You have worked incredibly hard to reach this goal and EVERY achievement is worth CELEBRATION whether big or small especially because we NEVER know what is going to happen tomorrow. So CELEBRATE now! Your description does sound like a beautiful wedding but do what makes YOU feel special because this is about YOUR accomplishments!!! Sometimes I do a little dance for nothingness. Cleaned all the clothes and none left in the hamper (for a family this is a BIG goal) - dance party! There doesn’t need to be a justification from ANY outside source to be proud of yourself, be proud of what you have done or want to celebrate it either. YOU DID IT BE PROUD, BE LOUD, DON’T LET ANYONE OR ANYTHING BRING YOU DOWN! 2. Boys/Men: Now I have my Mom hat on. First of all, I am sorry you have experienced heartache, true heartache. Doesn’t matter if there was a relationship or not. The loss of what we felt still hurts A LOT. Secondly, the BEST way to sort through this is to be open and honest with the person you had felt these feelings towards. NOT for their sake, for yours. They may have never felt the same or may have at one point but then didn’t act or may have but felt it wouldn’t have worked or may be extremely flattered but never knew or thought about it. That is not the point. The point is, being honest with that person will allow you to know that your feelings weren’t “stupid,” or “unrealistic,” or “fantasy,” or anything else. They were real, you are happy for the person and whatever their personal situation is now and you know they know how you felt and, 9/10 they will have at the minimum felt touched and at the best felt the same at some point too. Example 1: I was very young and met a young man who I genuinely genuinely loved. He wasn’t perfect nor was I - far from it - but I felt true love for the first time with him. We did date briefly but, at the time, our lives were on different paths. He broke up with me (in a kind manner) and we both went our separate ways and our separate relationships. Many years later a situation occurred when I ended up speaking with his mother. She asked me about my present situation and then she said words I would never forget. She said, “Oh, that’s a shame.” Just like that. In that VERY instant I knew - He had loved me all along and had let me go anyway. You see, at the time we broke up, our lives really were heading in different directions only neither of us had ever spoken about what we wanted long term at all and, had we, we would have realised we were, in fact, on the same page just not reading at the same rate. Many more years later I ended up in a situation where he got in touch with me again. I told him about the time I spoke with his mother and he was, of course, surprised, but then said: Yes. It is true. I was deeply in love with you but I thought you wanted A and I wanted B and the two were not compatible. Now, we didn’t somehow magically end up together again (this is not a movie) because our lives had developed over many years into actually separate paths completely but had he just said then and I had said then what was never said, who knows. Example 2: I knew a friend many, many years ago. I NEVER had feelings for the friend and I NEVER saw myself with the friend. We NEVER dated and we lived very separate paths. Many, many, many years later this friend suddenly declared he loved me and always had. I STILL did not feel that way and never will, but I felt flattered and wanted not to hurt him so gently and gracefully thanked him for loving me but explained the feelings were not mutual and hoped he would find someone who could give him those feelings fully in return as well. I was not cruel and he was not angry. I felt flattered he had been so brave to tell me and I didn’t want to mislead or misconstrue anything but I also didn’t want to hurt him either so I spoke kindly and openly and gently about how I really felt and wished him every happiness in his life to come. It was brave and I applauded that bravery. However, my feelings were not the same. In both examples, the actions carried out were carried out by people who could respect that their lives just didn’t have that Happily Ever After attached to them but there was still love, respect and honour in the being open and honest to such an extent as to not cause harm to either side. The heartbreak of the loss of love for me in example 1 still meant we both lived good lives apart and the loss of love for the other party in example two still meant he felt free to let me go and find someone who felt the same elsewhere. Just be honest with the guy. Let your friendship figure out next steps. Whether that be your being happy for him and his future without you and he you or it be you both have actually felt the same and just didn’t realise. Just be honest and that, and that alone, will let you both move forward in the path meant for you. PS - I know it is not my business, but a man like Josh is a marrying kind of man. He loves you even if it is a mutually respectful friendship. That is the kind of love that makes lifetime commitment work. 3. The book: SUPER SUPER EXCITING! Have watched you doing the audiobook. Long hours and lots of repetition but it will be sooooo worth it!!! Congratulations yet again!! 4. Returning to a sleep schedule. Best thing to get your body back to a tired by 22:00 life, excercise by midday for at least an hour. Not later than midday as that will kick start your energy again. Early morning to midday exercise, moving your body around, even if it just climbing the stairwell in your office building as a break or before eating lunch. Sleep is natural and deep when our physical bodies are tired but our minds are at rest. Love that you read at night. Do it in bed. Turn off all blue lights and overhead lights. Use a small lamp if needed , a warm drink (chamomile based works great) and unplug at least 45 minutes before you want to be asleep. With practicing this (and sticking to it), within a week or two, natural sleep at night will return. You have to make an effort though to TURN OFF. Lights out, in bed, as comfy as possible. Book is good, but not TV or KZbin or just one more thing on the computer etc. TURN OFF. Love you! Incredibly proud of you! ALWAYS behind you!!! 🌹

Girl, you should definitely have a party . Like you said , it should be like a wedding . Because it is a HUGE achievement, it is something you did for yourself and for your future so is a great act of love to yourself , so why not celebrate at large ? . Also I just wanted to say I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of months now and it is sooo motivating and inspiring . I am a 35 years old Argentinian woman who just now is starting to see the rewards of self love, hard work and consistency and I LOVE IT. Thanks to channels like yours I was able to keep pushing on days when I didn’t feel like it . Still have a long way to go but I love my life now and just wanted to say thank you , I guess . Sorry for the long long comment . You rock ! Cheers!

When it comes to the graduation party I fully understand both points of view. Obviously you should do whatever you want - that’s the most important thing. If I were to give some advice maybe you could figure out whether you’ll have another opportunity to gather everyone that’s close to you and throw a big celebration this year. Because that would definitely create the chance to do so. But maybe there will be other things to celebrate? On the other hand I completely get wanting to do something special for yourself after achieving so much and finishing an incredible university. So if you have the time and finances and want to create another memorable event - go for it!😊

I can feel you so bad on the part with the graduation ceremony! I got my bachelors degree right at the beginning of covid last year and there was nothing (Germany university). No ceremony, no handing over the certificate in any way just receiving it via post. It was kind of devastating considering I worked my ass of to get the degree just to receive a paper without being like congratulated by the university/faculty? Hence why i want a ceremony so bad for my masters when I'm done because we deserve to get some praise for our hard work.
