Hey everyone, does anyone have tips for writing a motivational letter when you don’t have work or internship experience? I just finished my bachelor’s degree and now I want to apply for a master’s program. Throughout my studies, I worked different jobs just to support myself and my family, which meant I couldn’t focus 100% on my studies. As a result, my grades aren’t as strong as I’d like them to be. Considering this, what should I focus on in my motivational letter? Thank you to anyone who takes the time to help!

Wow 5 years ago you must have graduated. What did you major in?

Please guide me: I am a nursing graduate, and I lost my father to covid in 2021. That affect my mental health and ability to treat patients tremendously. I served him on ventilator, I was his nurse ofcourse, but his death impacted me to a point I could not treat patients and all the package of burden around. I want to switch badly as getting ready everyday and showing to hospital waiting for my shift to get over; before it even starts🙂is not good for my mental health. So I am looking strongly for a transition career like health informatics, or healthcare administration, as these fields would be more appropriate for me to serve in healthcare, but also not through direct patient exposure. Also moving to an abroad land will help me heal myself and gain new memories and meeting new people will improve my personality as whole This is my honest true statement, for pursuing a transition degree internationally. Should I mention parental loss in my SOP. My professors adviced not to; as it's like drawing too much attention on my shadow pasts, also the university might think you are not fully fit...like psychologically...to adapt an international culture. But I just cant think much of anything more to add in the SOP, I feel my reason is most authentic and valid enough. What should I write in? Please guide me. Thankyou alrea
