4 years back when I went to Port Blair and saw cellular jail ,heard about veer Sawarkar and his suffering and how he wrote mercy petitions,at that time also I was in awe and felt he was so smart to do that , instead of dying in jail it’s much more smarter move to come out and do something, is there any romanticism in suffering , all those who are criticising him should get one day of that suffering and then we will see what do they do

For everyone must read about Veer Sawarkar. Without knowing about him don't open your mouth for bad words. I am Maharashtrian and read his literatures in Marathi. You will get visuals of that era when you read about him. British laws. The work of Veer Sawarkar has various life aspects. There is no single writer who able to capture him in one edition of a book. And some people want to explain him in few words. The Britisher threatened by him due to which they put him into lifetime imprisonment two times. And not wanted to bring him out from prison. If he was a coward then Britisher can bring him out of jail and make him as an example of failure in front of Gulam India that time. But they(Britisher) don't had courage to do that. If anyone thinks he was coward or has serious implications on him due to words like he promoted Hinduism or he against other religions, please read atleast 100 pages on him from any book written on him.

I do not think of Savarkar as negative person, he did what any ordinary man would have done. He asked for plead. No issue with that, and it should not be given that much of importance. But putting Savarkar in league of Bhagat Singh other un-disputed Heros is little unfair. It is ranting that Congress portrayed Savarkar, as negative person. Shahid Bhagat Singh was never inclined towards Congress people but we still love him, I don't see any congress/rss negative against him. That is why I feel Savarkar and Shahid Bhagat Singh should never be compared.

( वीर सावरकर क्यों वीर थे ) *) वीर सावरकर को दिन में 8 घंटे लोहे की जंजीर से बांध कर दिवार से लटकाया जाता था *) वीर सावरकर ( ब्राह्मण ) ने ही सबसे पहले दलितों को मंदिर में प्रवेश करवाया था *) वीर सावरकर ( ब्राह्मण ) ही पहले थे जिन्होंने दलित भाइयो को सवर्णों के समान समानता दिलाई थी अम्बेकर साहब से पहले *) वीर सावरकर ने मांफी अंग्रेजी सरकार के खिलाफ जाने के लिए कभी नहीं मांगी थी 1) सावरकर जी पहले भारतीय थे जिन्होंने 1901 में रानी विक्टोरिया के मरने पर नासिक में सोक सभा का विरोध किया था 2) स्वरकार जी पहला देशभक्त थे जिन्होंने " एडवर्ड सप्तम " के राज्याभिषेख का उत्सव मनाने वालों को त्रयम्बकेस्व में बड़े - बड़े पोस्टर लगा कर कहा था की गुलामी का उत्स्व मत मनाओ 3) विदेशी वस्त्रो की होली पूना में 7 अक्टूबर 1905 को सावरकर जी ने ही जलाई थी 4) वीर सावरकर ऐसे पहले वक्ति थे जिन्होंने विदेशी वस्त्रो का दहन किया था और बाल गंगा धर तिलक ने अपने पत्रिका केसरी में शिवा जी महाराज के सामान बताया था और गांधी जी ने south africa में अपने अपने पत्र इंडियन ओपिनियन में इसकी निंदा की थी 5) वीर सावरकर के विदेशी वस्त्र दहन की इस घटना के मार्ग पर चलतेहुवे 11 जुलाई 1921 में मुंबई के परेल में विदेशी वस्त्रो का दहन किया था 6) वीर सावरकर पहले ऐभारतीय बेरिस्टर थे जिन्होंने 1909 में great - in परीछा पास करने के बाद ब्रिटेन के राजा के प्रति वफादारी की कसम नहीं खाई 7) वीर सावरकर पहले ऐसेारतीय लेखक थे जिन्होंने 1857 को " स्वत्रन्त्र समर " कहा था 8) 1857 का " स्वातन्त्र्य समर " विदेशो में छपा , और भगत सिंह ने इसे छापा भारतीय क्रांतिकारियों के लिए से श्री गीता थी जो हर क्रन्तिकी के घर में मिलती थी 9) वीर सावरकर पहले क्रन्तिकारी थे जो समुंद्रिय जहाज में बंदी बनाकर ब्रिटेन से भारत ले जाते समय जहाज से कूद कर तैरते हुवे फ़्रांस पहुंचे 10) वीर सावरकर पहले ऐसे भारतीय थे जिनका मुकदमा अंतरास्ट्रीय न्याययालय हेग में चला फ़्रांस और ब्रिटेन की मिली भगत से उनको न्याय नहीं मिला 11) वीर सावरकर पहले ऐसे क्रन्तिकारी और भारतीय थे जिनको अंग्रेजो ने 2 लगातार आजीवन कारावास की सजा मिली 12) वीर सावरकर पहले ऐसे राजनितिक बंदी थे जिनको काला पानी की सजा मिली और 10 साल से भी अधिक तक कोल्हू चला कर 30 पोंड तेल प्रतिदिन निकलवाया गया 13) वीर सावरकर काला पानी में पहले ऐसे कैदी थे जिन्होंने कोयले से दीवारों पर कविताये लिखी और 6000 पंक्तिया लिखी 14) वीर सावरकर पहले ऐसे थे जिनकी किताबो पर आजादी के बाद कई वर्षो तक प्रतिबंद लगा रहा 15) 1948 में नेहरू ने गांधी जी की हत्या की आड़ में सावरकर जी को आरोप में लाल किले में बंद कर दिया और आरोप झूठा होने पर छोड़ दिया सावरकरजी के राष्ट्रवादी विचारधारा देश विदेश के सरकारों को डरा देती थी 16) 1966 में सावरकर जी के स्वर्ग रोहण पर भारतीय संसद में सांसदो ने सोक रखने की बात कही लेकिन ये कहा गया की वो भारतीय सांसद नहीं थे लेकिन उसी संसद में चर्चिल का सोक सभा रखा गया 17) वीर सावरकर पहले ऐसे क्रन्तिकारी राष्ट्रभक्त थे जिनकी मूर्ति 26 जनवरी 2003 में लगी थी 18) वीर सावरकर पहले ऐसे वयक्ति रहे जिनकी फोटो संसद भवन में से हटाने के लिए इटली की मैडम सोनिया गांधी ने हटाने के लिए राष्ट्र पति अब्दुल कलाम जी से हटाने को पत्र लिखा गया , लेकिन उन्होंने ने साफ मना कर डाला

Vikrama Sampatha ji, comes from Karņāťaka. His mother tongue is Kannađa. It is great to see that he also knows Marāťhī and Hindī. I can assure no Hindī speaker can speak Kannađa even one tenth of the quality of Hindī spoken by Vikrama Sampatha ji. Being multilingual is the biggest asset for a true Bhārtīya.

There were many people who were pittu of English people. Either they were not put in to custody or enjoyed luxury life in jail. Examples are jinnah and Nehru. Later enjoyed writing, reading, letters writing, good food, good room, high class hotel facilities etc. Savarkar had to use his room for latrine purposes and bathing was a big luxury was allowed in years that only with sea water. Savarkar had to extract oil from oil seeds on daily basis in all conditions whether sick or normal. If fails then hard beating and no food.
