I like this place too before walking over to Epcot! They also have an “allergen muffin” that is off-menu, but you can ask for it. It’s a solid choice!

Tomato Basil soup sounded really good, especially with Fall almost here. It's a bummer that it has dairy in it. Could that be modified or prepared with a plant based milk if you spoke to a chef?

I'm not sure in a quick-serve environment like that if they'd be able to accommodate but it's worth asking! :)

Thank you for finding this out and experiencing the imperfections of non vegan restaurants for us! I hope they gave you the food for free! I've made mistakes like that tomato basil soup before and had "salad on a bun" sandwiches like that second one. A few years ago, I went to breakfast at "Snooze - An am Eatery" which assured me they had Vegan options. After I had made it clear to my server that I was Vegan, she empathized with me cuz she is also after I had mentioned I couldn't eat meat eggs and dairy (eggs cause my heart to twitch), and I ordered a tofu scramble. She and her manager were both new employees at that location, and they were super aware and confirmed that I was vegan and ordered the tofu scramble. I also ordered another entrée which I can't recall what it was, but the scramble they served me turned out to contain folded eggs. As i was eating, I thought to myself "this tofu is really egg like." After I had nearly halfway consumed the plate, puzzled by it's familiar egginess, I asked the manager "are you sure this is tofu? It tastes like eggs which I'm allergic to." She immediately recognized I had been served eggs, freaked out and ordered me not to eat any more as she quickly snatched the dish from me apologizing profusely. My vegan server was also feeling embarrassed and cried her eyes out over the mistake. They corrected the dish with a new plate, brought me what I had ordered, and my entire meal was free, and I've not been back since. I can't wait till the day comes when non vegans finally get Vegan food ordering done correctly. I've also learned lessons ordering from Chipotle, because they make many mistakes also.

Thank you for watching! Yeah it’s hard to trust people sometimes and then add the online ordering to the mix and it’s even scarier. I was going by how the other plant-based options appeared in the app but should’ve known to double check. I wish all servers/chefs could be vegan or have an allergy for a day so they understood better. 😅
