Grackle when I was visiting London from the US I tried the vegan pistachio bar and It was so good. In the US we only have vegan crisps and bagels at Starbucks. I was so happy to try all the UK options.

There is a difference between low quality fast food and high-quality fast food, but the general criteria has a few things to it. The general criteria goes as follows: it must be cheap, something that you can hold on the go, at times because not all do it is it must come from a fast food drive-through, if not coming from a fast food drive-through it must be something you can take out, and it must be very quick. For most restaurants, it is always dine in; and if you get full then you can take it to go.

@McDonalds Farmer Thank you. I'm still trying to come to terms with the fact that I'm not fat like I feel. It's an emotion, I think, but just a messed up one. It's hard to explain if you haven't had this sickness. Anyway, I've been trying but I'm slipping back with stress and all. I'm definitely fighting though! But.. You're right, it's not fun at all, and I love food a lot too. Maybe a little too much, which is contradictory to what people would probably think. I would love to try curry, and homemade meals are the best. Also, yes, cheese and tomato sandwiches! Yum!

@McDonalds Farmer Yeah. It's really stress-based. I find I can't properly express emotions, so it becomes directed towards myself the more that I bottle. I tried not to, but it doesn't work. No, never tried curry. I come from a very Russian and Pennsylvania German family so we don't eat Indian food much, even though I'd love to. We're about to order Chinese and we don't have tomato but I would have gotten myself one. :')

I have seen a vegan mac n cheese in Pret aswell. Maybe u can do a comparison of all the main stream coffee shops like Starbucks, Costa, Pret, cafe Nero and maybe a more boutique style cafe

Grace have you tried the applewood vegan cheese, it’s literally changed my life! It is the best vegan cheese for melting, it melts like dairy cheese and isn’t sticky like other vegan cheese. I now don’t even feel sad I can’t have dairy cheese!

So I work for a food safety team and we have to categorise businesses into different types - the way we define fast food generally is food that you pay for before you eat it so for example nandos, McDonald’s, Costa would all be classed as fast food whereas frankie and bennys, Pizza Hut and wagamamas wouldn’t. Obviously there are always exceptions to that rule though!
