Could you make this instead of turkey for thanksgiving? How would you season it?

Would it make sense to blanch it in a pot of hot water for a few minutes to help cook the bottom parts and core as baking will have trouble penetrating sufficiently without burning the top and outside? Not a fan of cauliflower normally but this looks worth a try!

theuglykwan You could try…but be careful that the top part isn't too mushy. And you'll need to really dry it well so the marinade sticks. Please let me know if that works! Thanks for commenting! I seriously eat this whole thing for dinner sometimes…OK there…I said it

Great, thanks ..I will. And yes, it is amazing already - even after only 5 full days! ( AND 4 lbs less, by the way)

All cauliflower is organic, by-the-by

+RBBanner Hmmm...well I guess it is...but not by today's standards :)

+RBBanner how is that?all cauliflower is organic?? is not! there is organic cauliflower and conventional cauliflower with pesticides and fertilizers.

Yes, but you know that she didn't mean as in "living matter", she meant organic in as how it was grown, instead of conventional, where it doesn't have to follow the standards in regards to pesticides, fertilizers, GMOs... Cheers.

"cancer-fighting"? Got any evidence for that?

Yes I do! :)

Great! So that's cancer taken care of. Why don't more people know about your miraculous discovery?

Haha!! They do. In fact the World Health organization and the NIH (National Institute of Health) an American national cancer organization (not sure where you're from) indicate that foods high in indole-3 carbinol (cauliflower, broccoli, brussels sprouts, kale, and like that...) reduce your risk of cancer! Cool right? You can buy suppliment forms of indole-3 carbinol, but eating the foods are much better absorbed. Thanks for your comment so others can see!
