I make these hashbrowns every morning! They are so crunchy!!! No oil. I throw the frozen hashbrowns right on the panini. It takes about 30 mins. Yummy!!!

I got this idea a few months ago and use my George Foreman grill (bought at Goodwill for $9!!)- I put 1/2 bag on and it cooks in about 15 min...add some garlic powder and & spices after it cooks so they don't stick on the grill..and it really satisfies my cravings!

I understand about sequence eating, but how do you do that when you need to be at work at 7:30 in the morning, only get a 15 min break at noon and home by 5, because of other commitments? The only time I can do it is on my 2 days off. I don't want to wake up earlier than my already 5am in order to sequence eat. So, do you have any tips? I do have your book and still reading it. Usually, I just do oatmeal in the morning, 2 bananas at my break and potatoes and squash when I get home. However, I do end up with some cheat snacking off and on, so my weight fluctuates a lot. Thanks.

You do blended veggie soups and put them in a Kleen Kanteen so they are warm when you are ready to have them.

If you don't have a panini press, or can't afford one, you can also make frozen hashbrowns in your oven. Heat your oven to 400-425 degrees f, spread them out on some parchment paper or a baking mat, and let them bake for about 20 minutes, to a half hour. Flip, then bake to your desired crispiness. I would cook them in a pan, but they always seem to stick without oil!

Same!! I noticed that whenever I tried to follow the instructions on the back and cook them on the stove omitting the oil, (also since I didn't have a non-stick pan) it ALWAYS stuck to the pan! When I started baking them in the oven on a silicone baking mat they came out beautifully crispy and crunchy.

Hey, cool! Me too. Even with a non-sick pan, following all of the instructions on the back of the package, they still stuck to my non-stick pan and ruined my day lol.

Though I understand the answering questions of people running into trouble on this program, couldn't you do at least one episode discussing the success stories, cause this way one might think that most people trying to follow UWL run into issues?
@CHEFAJ6 жыл бұрын
I am guessing you are not on my mailing list because we have sent out multiple videos with success stories just in the past few months. We have a new book coming out with just the success stories next year.
@eelkeaptroot13936 жыл бұрын
Ok, awesome! -And no, I'm not on the mailing list I'm really not that interested in weight-loss for myself, but I sometimes come across arguments in threads here on youtube on the topic and mingled in the discussion, many of your tips are really useful in that case, I've referred people to your program on some occasion, don't know whether they took that advice though.
@CHEFAJ6 жыл бұрын
Eelke Aptroot Thanks for the referrals but we do a lot more things than just weight loss. We send out interviews to our list with luminaries that have nothing to do with weight loss.

I agree. My hubby almost dragged me out of his office! I have a large pituitary tumor & other issues so it is hard for me to lose weight and he doesn't understand.

It seems like all your videos are preceeded by some sort of highly processed, high calorie, high fat junk food. Today is was Pillsbury flaky rolls. Question for you about the hashbrowns. Why not just shred a russet or yukon gold potato to make the hashbrowns?

@NLR7596 жыл бұрын
@@CHEFAJ I know you have no control over the ads, it's just so ironic with the ads they choose to run. But then really most ads are for unhealthy food anyway. I only found out about you in the last year, and I really enjoy your videos!
