As a vegan who used to live in HK for a decade and who now lives in Taipei....come to Taiwan. Vegan food is passable in HK as a tourist but is still quite disappointing considering HK is an international mega city. Taiwan however is on a different planet when it comes to vegan food choices. But after years of living in Taipei, I've still yet to try all the vegan restaurants and new ones keep popping up all the time. Most of the mock meats available in HK are mostly from Taiwan anyway haha

On Instagram I've seen so much delicious-looking vegan food in Taiwan and honestly thought about traveling there, but somehow this thought got lost in the last few years. Thank you very much for this great firsthand info and reminding me of Taiwan. I just told my partner about it and we now want to add Taiwan to our next Asia roundtrip. 😄❤️
