love vegan leather & this journal cover is to die for! i just made a composition book cover for my mom in a different style. i edged about every 10 to 15 pages in the composition book with the 1/8" to 1/4" by 10" inch trim strips left over from trimming papers. they really give a nice hard edge to the papers & can be used like dividers.

Love this. Beautiful colors. Great technique and easy to follow. Don't own a drill. Used to have a little one years ago. Guess a hammer and nail would do the same job. I thought this looked cool so I tried it. My pieces turned out awesome! I can’t stop making them now. I turn them into little bitty “leather” booklets. Also I tried something else... old leather usually has a bit sheen on it so I covered mine in a light coat of matte Mod Podge and now they look even more like old leather. I thought it’d make them too stiff, but nope! They’re still supple and they not only look more like leather but feel like it as well. Thanks for the great ideas, Lorriemarie!

@@lorrimarie2002 Not yet. I don't have a Cuttle Bug but I do have a silhouette. I was told by someone that I could emboss with it but I really don't have any idea if that is true or not. I am not fond of the learning process with anything that has to do with the computers. I guess what I am saying is that I have been stalling. I know! Ineed to face my fears!

oh linda....the luminere paints? they are fun...quite opaque and metallic.....i played with them in the newest video using a gelli plate and hand sanitizer....i really like the effect...i will play with that again.! see you on the table linda!
