It was so good to see your Thanksgiving meal video. Thanksgiving was practically sacred with my family. It was really a family reunion at my grandparents house with as many as 35 people on some occasions. It was potluck but my grandmother was the queen and did the lionesses share, Grandpa cherished it over Christmas. This was country cooking, north central Florida cracker style. Your recipes reminded me of the joy and love that my family had. I almost cried when I saw the cast iron skillet that you cooked the cornbread in. I became vegan 10 years ago, my husband about 4. I am now trying to integrate our food choices with our sons' families in a way we can enjoy the holidays and also contribute dishes that they would enjoy. It's both a sad and a happy time, because both my husband's parents and my parents have passed away, now, but we still feel strongly about maintaining the family connection that we were raised with. Maybe one day I can host Thanksgiving. A lot of work but I would truly love to do it. I've already veganized some of my Grandma's old recipes and I want to thank you so much for your vegan spin on my old memories. Bless you and your family 💓

I love organic vegan soul food. I buy it whenever I can afford to. Sell it frozen and cheap, artists. With volume options. You'll make money. However, I'm not a talented cook, so I keep it simple and do what I know. People like my cooking. Most of my ingredients are organic: tastier and healthier for everyone and environment. For Thanksgiving, vegan lasagna with lasagna, Monterey jack and other vegan cheese, fresh spinach, marinara sauce. Plate of green olives, black olives. Broccoli with vegan hollandaise sauce; stovetop dressing, cranberry sauce, cherry pie, chocolate pie,made with soy milk, with banana slices, pumpkin pie, made with organic pumpkin pie mix, leave out eggs, use nondairy milk, like soy milk, organic pie shells, bake at lower, longer temps.. I like nondairy vanilla ice cream with my pie, Sodelicious cashew or soy ice cream is my favorite.
