My family still live in the beautiful Cape (though I’m currently in the UK). It really is an amazing, special place. Thank you so much for speaking about SA’s history in such an open way. Yes we must move forward, but I think it’s essential to learn from the past at the same time. Your honesty & thoughtfulness is so refreshing! :)

Born and raised Capetonian here, well... Until I was 12 and then moved to the UK but I've been back 3 times as most of my family still live out there, and you've literally done more stuff than I ever did when I lived there. It's such a stunning city and I am so happy that there are more vegetarian and vegan options becoming available because the majority of the South African population are meat eaters and meat lovers. I was one of them until nearly 4 years ago now and I don't know if I would have made the change if I still lived there. Well done, beautiful video and I will be sure to visit these places when I next go out!

Unfortunately I did not get to visit Johannesburg this time but we went to Durban and Cape Town and like I said in the video my jaw just dropped and stayed dropped throughout, haha. it really is such a beautiful city, can't stop saying that to everyone I talk to - haha! 😊 I hope you get to visit one day soon, I'm sure you'd love it. I haven't introduced him really I guess, he's always behind the camera but you can catch a glimpse of him in the Stockholm videos and a few candid shots in this video too. There are also a few photos of him in my city guides, although I think he prefers to be in the background.
