VEGAS 2 RENO Race RECAP 🏎💨

A group of unlikely misfits band together to take on 495 miles of the toughest desert terrain Nevada has to offer...the only question is, do they have what it takes to make it through??
A big thank you goes out to the Jeffrey Brother's Racing Team for inviting us along to codrive and capture the whole experience on film for you guys. It was a great experience and we had a good time with everyone.
Flippen Racing were good sports and it was a pleasure to race against them, and we wish them luck with their future endeavors.
We took on the mighty V2R and walked away from it with smiles on our face. Rain or shine, win or lose, we are all in this to have fun and be safe! 🙌
Vegas to Reno was a very long race. It is the longest race that Spencer and I have been a part of other than the Baja 1000, and it definitely showed us how determined you have to be to persevere through everything for the finish line. Maybe we will even get a racecar of our own across it one day! 😍🤷‍♀️

Having a difficult time comprehending this tragic news... Ashlynn, my prayers go out to you and your family - and most definitely as well to Spencer's family. This video is an example of how determined the two of you were. Ash, now it is your turn to show Spence how determined you can be in your recovery - and yes, he is still watching and loving you from where he is now...

I’m trying my best to try and tell myself this is just a bad dream . I never thought the couple I’d aspire to be like one day would come to an end like this. I’m in shambles and don’t really know how to properly take this in . You and spencer were the perfect combo . You guys did everything together , from working on Vw’s to racing them . I’m devastated to hear about what happened and I’m sending my prayers out to you and your families . Much love going out to you from the vw community . Rest easy Spencer.

It is so heartbreaking to hear this kind of tragedy. Two young people with their lives and future in front of them and just in a fraction of second, bam... is gone. So sad to hear this. RIP Spencer and I hope a quick recovery for Ashlynn and comfort to heal soon your lost. I will pray for you and Spencer's family.

I'm still trying to reel in this tragedy. My heart prayers go out to all the families involved here. I've never met either one of them but through the Dust Buggy channel I feel like they are close friends.

Stumbling at low throttle, then runs well at open throttle, hard start, then very high idle all adds up to a likely vacuum leak. Like the rubber boots connecting the center manifold to the end casting. Or end casting to head.
