The RyJ Short Churchill can be quite similar at times (and is a similar size). I'd also recommend the Ramon Allones Specially Selected. Both of these robustos are on the slightly heavier side of cuban cigars. If you've tried both then give the Juan Lopez Seleccion No. 2 a shot!

Actually my favorite and always present in my humidor. Tried Vegas Robaina unicos? I have one but hasnt smoked it yet..

Glad to hear you agree! I haven't had the Unicos actually, as I gravitate towards parejo shapes more than figurados but it might be time to try it now. Hope you really enjoy yours!

Smoking one right now, I searched for a review to compare my impressions. Definitely sweet, some hay some sweet cocoa, almost cocoa butter, very balanced but complex, subtle in a sense. I'm smoking it as an after dinner and as you said it's perfect. It would be so good with an espresso with a hint of milk in it, or with a whisky. Drinking whisky myself I would say that a speyside single malt would be very appropriate for this, being usually the sweetest and most fresh tasting whiskies, something like macallan, cragganmore or cardhu.
