this type of video has always been my favorite .The areas around lake mead when you are doing e bikes showing us the beautiful scenery is so interesting to those of us in colder and different climates. The heat can be difficult but below zero in the winters makes us long for your area.

As a native Las Vegan, I'm surprised I need to remind you that it ALWAYS stays warm until right before Halloween. Growing up here every year, us kids were always all excited to go out trick-or-treating in the neighborhood with our awesome costumes and shorts, but every single year, without fail, right before Halloween, anywhere from a day to a week out, it got too cold to wear shorts and we ended up having to put jackets on over our costumes messing up all our hard work. That is the way it's always been, at least since the '70s. This year looks to be the same as well. We're dropping 20 degrees in the next week. Get those hoodies out now! Thanks for the video!

La Niña has been affecting weather off and on for the past twenty some odd years, and about the time it looks like we’re going back to normal La Nina comes back again.

Using Sea level is a geological standard for drilled wells. I used to work "the patch" in Texas and our 12,000 foot wells were rated based on how far below sea level the well went. I heard it was based on old seafaring measurements.
