Your complaint on the Lectric was the front wheel is secured but a nut not a quick release that you prefer, but you didn’t mention how the front wheel is secured on the Portola (looks like it is a quick release)?

Another great review! After owning my Lectric 3.0 for a year now I have no complaints. Being one of the few models out there that you can ride from box open to ride is nice when you don't have to tools to put one together. Seems like there's allot of models that look just like my Lectric...yet with them all coming from China..it's no surprise. The Lectric homebase is in AZ and if anything breaks within a year...they send you a replacement quickly..free of charge. Not to many of these new producers offer free replacement. My Lectric goes fast enough for me. It is built solid. While vlogging on a nice hard path last year I hit a rut and toppled leaving my body paralyzed from the neck down. Gained feeling enough to crawl back on bike..if it wasn't for the ebike..I would of never been able to be dragged 4 miles to safety. Now being able to walk a little..I still ride my bike everyday. Living on the side of a mountain surprisingly only use pas 1. Ride 20-25 miles using mostly throttle and still have 2-3 bars left. It's crazy being able to go uphill..at 26 mph..just using throttle. It's Sweeeet!

I bought one today they will send it tomorrow and they are in California I spoke with customer service and everything was very good and attentive to my requests I think this company will give a lot to talk about if they maintain their quality onla they improve even more we will see how my experience is when it arrives my portola good video and review good vibes.

The color is sharp Style looks great. The Cables I do not know why they just did not put them up in the Handle bar steam? I still would want to get an E Bike that I do not have to paddle much and get get 60 miles full throttle. But It might just be a pipe dream..lol.. Thanks Joey and Maria for these Reviews... Question: I watched your video on the Lectric XP 3.0 and you mentioned the front wheel is locked with nut (no quick release) and you prefer the quick release. Did you forget to mention the quick release clamp on the Ride1Up Portola front wheel that you favor?

Riding Portola for 60 mi already. And experienced already multiple time of after braking motor cut-off the PAS and throttle torque is not restoring when pedaling. This trouble is already described online, and I have not experienced before riding two other e-bike brands? With other words loosing a power while pedaling only because by braking the intended power cut-off by breaking keeps the power off and not recovering after the brake levers are released already.

Parts availability and support is a huge "feature." Chinese brands are awful on this. For example I have a well-known Chinese treadmill that needs a remote control -- a basic item -- that is not available.

Exactly! and it cant be ignored' - Thats always the question I get when I sell one of my e-bikes because I have so many in the garage. and the sad reality is .... Pray it doesnt break' Dont abuse it - OR Know a shop willing to work on Generic NO NAME BRAND e-bikes because.. when they do break.. the Repairs will be done by the owners.. The chinese companies will not be paying for the shipping back and forth ... - thanks for watching' Joey

I just got mine and out the box I noticed a loud constant clicking when the rear wheel spins forward. It happens when I spin it with my hand and gets super loud with the motor engaged. Its like a playing card is stuck in the wheel. Its my first bike in like 15 years, I don't know if this is right or not but its annoying. Any idea what it is?

If the noise goes away when you pedal but comes back when you coast (move without pedaling), those are the pawls in the freewheel mechanism. It’s normal for all bikes except fixies.
