Reviews are always done with less than 30 miles. Great first impression, but It's a coinflip when buying from China. I ended up getting sent a broken scooter, and after contacting support, they just sent me broken replacement parts. Its been a nightmare putting in the hours installing the new parts just to discover they are also broken.

Good video review! Bells are good for alerting pedestrians, grandmas, moms on cargo bikes with kids, and disabled people that ride those mobility PEVs... But for something that fast, you are right: You need a real horn going 35 on the street... CARS KILL

Hello J From the long range weather patterns I see there is going to be a substantial snow total increase very soon which bodes well for the Colorado River and Lake Meade. Please don’t quit doing the lake report. I feel your going to surprised with the increased Lake levels this Spring and Summer.

i have a jue shauai scooter 48v 800w kick scooter . it can do close to 45 .i love it . ill never go back to a car .when this scooter does everything i need it to do in the city .with its long range battery. such a joy to ride .with the seat not a fan of standing up .

Be cool it has a post adapter for a small seat. Glad you wear a helmet. Still having problems walking after my last crash I am thankful I was wearing a helmet. Thankful I Have a ebike too. Thanks for the adventure.

Hi - yeah for sure.. On this Scooter , 100% protective clothing need to be worn! A crash on this at my age .... would be very bad' - I have a motorcycle and i can cruise that all day 45/55 in town and its just fine.. but this scooter is terrifying because you feel unstable standing straight up!

Man i .. I didnt want to sound like a grandpa listing knee pains but.. I kept feeling a pain in my knee first day i reviewed the scooter.. and couldnt understand why .. but then i rode the scooter again, and yet again .. the knee was aching! - Joey

It was Terrifying the first day i got on it! I turned all the settings down to the minimum so that it would be tame enough to ride.. It still feels dangerous - thanks for the comment ' Joey

You really need the hydraulic seat which also helps absorb the bumps.

Yes.. this scooter has a seating option and that is the only way i would enjoy the scooter for long periods. Standing for 5+ miles over bumpy roads and dips... Not great on my knees' - Joey

Pretty cool if you keep the speed low 15mph or less. Like other people have said if you crash going 40mph enjoy your hospital bed. 😂

I have ridden a full dress motorcycle over 100 MPH pulling a trailer, but there is no way I would get that thing up to 40 MPH. It just looks way too unstable.

FYI Varla uses cheap generic batteries that only have a year warranty and those batteries will start to go bad right after that warranty is up Varla told me that it would cost me $500 to replace the battery pack for my eagle one with same same crappy batteries it is cash grab this is a lot of money wasted if Varla did not send you a scooter for free and all this comes out of pocket !!!!!!!!!

The deal they gave me was for 2 years according to my contract. but yeah most e-bike batteries only come with a 1 year warranty. Then the big $300-$500 hit on the battery.. Thats the rub unfortunately.
