Another fantastic food review. You are my favorite to watch. I love your excitement over the food you are about to eat, and it shows in your big smile. You always explain things so well, and evenso I have heard your explanations in each video, I do not get tired of it or annoyed. I know there is always someone new to watch your videos. And it always sounds as if you explain it for the first time. Your edits are on point. Keep it as it is, and I'm sure you will get many more followers. Glad you got to spoil yourself this visit a bit. Hope you enjoyed it. And sorry about the seafood at the end.

That was a great deal for you today! Japanese A 5 is very good. So flavorful and tender. My daughter’s friend is Japanese, a meat broker dealing with A 5 so we have A 5 available to us anytime. The first time we bought one ribeye for each of us! lol 😂 These steaks are so rich you can’t eat one. I only ate a few slices and I was done. I wished I enjoyed Shaba Shaba, hot pot or bbq, don’t want to go out to eat and cook. Thanks again Shin! Sue
@VegaswithShin3 ай бұрын
I'm jealous that you have a connection to A5 beef! And agreed, it's very hard to eat large amounts of A5. It's far too rich. But something about having it sliced ultra thin really allows you to go in on these delicious meats. Thanks for watching Sue!

I truly appreciate that but 24k is a mind blowing number to me still. T-Mobile arena seats like 17500. So there are enough subscribers on the channel to sell out T-Mobile arena and still have 6500 people waiting outside. That's nuts to me. Thanks for watching!

Shin have you ever considered doing a video at Javier's in Vegas? I commented on another video but in case you didn't see. It's an upscale Mexican restaurant,I believe at the Aria. Seems right up your alley. Cheers!

I'll definitely be doing Javier's. I'm planning to video every restaurant on the strip and downtown on this channel. I want to have the full collection from McDonald's to Joel Robuchon and everything in between, just to see if I can. Javier's I believe is on my 2026 spreadsheet so won't be seeing that one for a while but I've eaten at Javier's in California several times a decade ago. Thanks for watching!

It’s a chuck ribeye, often called a chuck eye steak. It isn’t the same as the ribeye steak most people think of when you say ribeye. Loved the video though and it reminded me of eating sukiyaki in Tokyo 25 years ago.

I think I'd take the vegetables out before they got soggy and give them the same 5 second dip! The meats looked amazing! There's a couple Mikiya's near me in California too!
@VegaswithShin3 ай бұрын
So off camera, I usually get the mixed veggie plate and I just let the whole thing cook and flavor the broth like I had in the video and then get a plate of just cabbage and such that I like to dip to eat afterwards. I do pick at some of the mushrooms and stuff over time but I like how the sukiyaki broth tastes after it all cooks down for a long time. The Chubby Group is very big in California and Vegas now so I think we're going to have a couple of these types of spots around which is great! Thanks for watching!

The silver is perfect dude. You get the seafood, you get the bone marrow, and the Australian wagyu is a solid cut of beef. The membership also does get you discounts at all of the Chubby Group restaurants like Chubby Cattle and other places and I think they'll be expanding more throughout Las Vegas. If they end up making enough restaurants out here, I might consider it. It's like $3 a month. Thanks for watching Jerry!

Hi Shin. I enjoyed especially this video because I also really like shabu shabu and hot pot generally. Not a fan of sukiyaki broth because it’s a bit too sweet for me - but this is just a matter of taste. Did you like to dip the meat in the raw egg yolk? I didn’t see you do that but I also don’t do that (I know they say the egg is pasteurized but I am still squeamish about eating raw egg). Anyway, great video! The only negative thing about eating shabu shabu is the smell lingers in your hair and clothes for days after lol! :)
@VegaswithShin3 ай бұрын
I did have the egg off to the side but decided to just focus on the quality of the meats. They also serve sauces but didn't go into it for the same reason. Shabu shabu does stick to you, but KBBQ is still top of the mountain of post meal aroma lol. Thanks for watching!

Hmm, nothing is immediately coming to mind when I think of fries on the strip so if I have to think hard about it, I don't think it's going to be an instant wow.
