I travel to Vegas a lot for work as I work for a private jet company. I absolutely love Golden Steer! Never really enjoyed the filet of beef but I’ll swear by their New York strip it’s the best in Vegas hands down and I usually get a chicken parm to go afterwards lol great video

I've never heard of Norma, and I always thought Ruby from Travel Ruby was called "the queen of Las Vegas" lol but hey, always great to be introduced to new foodie channels or general food vlog channels etc. And congrats on your first collab Shin! I knew being not Elon Musk/Jeff Bezos would pay off man! I have to say, I really liked how you keep both of you in frame while tasting everything, which is a nice touch :) I have to admit, it's been about 30 years since I last was able to dine at The Golden Steer. Kind of great to know things are still top notch there, even if the prices are also top notch (though we've seen way worse obviously) lol

Mr. Shin, I was there last October and it was a cool place. Great ambiance and tasty food, but they missed the mark on service. The servers did not refill my coke, basically ignored us, and got the dessert wrong. It was $140 with tip and that was tough to swallow... Pardon the pun... LOL.

WOW! That menu is as simple as it gets. TAKE note Fountain Blu club steakhouse with its 100 different menu items. SIMPLE is USUALLY always better when it comes to a Steak House, plus no rave music playing in the background. Thank you SHIN! I enjoyed this one! 5 out of 5 for me! - FUN FACT: They dip there cut lemons (not the quarter slice though just the half cut) in butter then refrigerate over night for next days service. If you notice at 6:00 you will see the half cut lemon is coated in something and that is the butter baby! Most people don't even realize it because you never assume it is and just squeeze and go. It is those little things that make this place amazing and dipping those lemons is straight out of the 50's cook book!

It was butter when I went there back in 2004. I highly doubt they would change it to food grade wax. They are not knowing to go cheap on anything. @@VegaswithShin

I am absolutely sure it is not a net I know back in 2004 when I went there it was butter. Butter when in solid state can prevent seeds from falling into the food. If you look while they eat the lobster you can see a good shot of a half lemon and it is either food grade wax or butter. This place does not go cheap so I highly doubt they went to a food grade wax. Plus, if food grade wax drops into your food it can change the taste of it but not butter! @@SonnyDK

Great review and a great collaboration! Vegas has been my go to destination for 30 years and i watch both your channels to get a taste of tha vegas feel in between trips. To be fair, they gave us the meatballs for free and I believe they took 1 of the other appetizers off the bill (or just forgot to put it on there because we ordered so much) but yes, even with the 2 apps we got for free, I still thought the price wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Love your video with Norma. Ya'll definitely need a channel together.. One thing I notice about Las Vegas in general is that they rarely have local beers. Mostly the common hyper brands. Normally a good steakhouse is going to do bare seasonings on the food to leave it up to the customer's preference.

Shin, you have become my favorite blogger on KZbin. I guess I've gotten used to you reviewing restaurants solo. Although your collabs are good, they don't allow you to give your full, detailed description of each dish you try. Your thorough thoughts on each dish is part of your charm, and it goes into my decision making for which restaurant to try next. So, will you be doing your Saturday reviews as mostly collabs or will you be doing some solos as well? I hope for the latter, but nevertheless, I still enjoy your videos greatly and look forward to them every week.

I think 94% of my video will be solo videos. I have 1 other collab I've agreed to for the channel next month, but the amount of work this took is far more than I expected so out of sheer laziness and personal scheduling, I'll likely be sticking to my standard style of videos. I want to maybe do 2-4 collabs a year tops, at least for my channel. I'm starting to get hit up by more KZbinrs to work together so you'll start seeing me on other channels soon. People like yourself with a screen presence, great communication and operating in their zone don't come along all that often and your followers appreciate your talent. I'm not surprised that other YT's are now knocking at your door trying to get a piece of it. Most of them are all chasing the same content with varying amounts of success and of course they have to 'play nice' with management. You on the other hand are polite and respectful but like you say '...if you are willing to pay' We get your honest take and there is never any doubt about it. Selfishly I hope you stay a solo gig on this channel unless you have a guest foodie/chef who is free to speak his mind.
