Yeah Vegeta had shown a lot of maturity during the Buu Saga vs the last Sagas. Man was blunt and brutally honest with himself, unlike in Cell Saga or even Saiyan Saga. Vegeta has one of the best character developments in all of Anime.

A very brief fight against Fat Buu, a like 1 minute transformations for Goten and Trunks and then another super brief fight with Super Buu. This is his first real fight using that form and doesn't really know its drawbacks at the time.

​@@talcumx2124 Yeah it's the fact that Buu needs to be eliminated entirely. Kid Buu is essentially just pure evil Ki. Goku needed to be able to control, condense, and concentrate enough Ki to basically override Buu's. This is why the Spirit Bomb works finally, and so extremely well. The Japanese word for it is "Genki Dama;" and "Genki" is essentially what we'd call "life force." (This is why the Tri-Beam is more powerful than the Kamehameha too.) Think of it the same as Piccolo having to charge the Special Beam Cannon in the beginning of the series.

I love whenever Goku and Vegeta interact, it feels like it’s always the highlight of the series. Anytime they do. What is your bickering whether they’re getting along. I love both moments but the moments of when they get along, easily the best. Goku’s has always cared for Vegeta well at least know yeah because the first time they met they fight and Goku saved his life. But the sea Vegeta also share sentiment where he cares about Goku’s hits harder and feels deeper, because of who he was opposite up to this point. This is amazing story telling.

Vegeta is a real one fr. I love when these 2 have the respect moments between each other, some of my favorite lines come from their little talks and speeches to each other. Dragon ball is genuinely the best, I'll watch others of course, anime is awesome but nothing for me can top dragon ball. Another favorite Vegeta talk is when he talks with Piccolo before he blows himself up to beat buu and he's asking if he'll see kakarot again.

Vegeta wouldn't have done this if he hadn't an onfspring. He may have hated the fact that Trunks grew up in a peaceful envirronment. But the chance that that his son has a shot of survival and continue his Saiyan bloodline, was enough for him yo give the low class Saiyan he once despited the oppurtinity to do the thing he couldn't do ( defeating Buu). His Saiyan pride was strong, but he set it aside when he asked the Eartlings to power up Goku's spirit bomb. We all know the real Vegeta and that bastard wouldn't have given up his ego and very existance if there wasn't a chance that his son could continue his legacy.
