This was a solid direction for Vegeta. Ultra Instinct doesn't suit him at all so I'm glad Vegeta got this. Ultra Ego we will see more of for sure.

yea plus it would be too repetitive story wise. getting super sayan, same as goku made sense. but ultra instinct is not something sayans get because they are sayans, so it makes sense for them to diverge.

Remember when Goku achieved Ultra Instinct and everyone immediately assumed Vegeta would achieve some kind of offensive counterpart? Well, shit. They were actually kinda right. And it was a great choice for his character.

I see people asking for this to be done with scenes that haven't been animated yet, those are cool and all, but there's opportunity. Instead of scenes that we may see animated in another year or two, why not scenes that we know won't be animated? Gohan vs Kefla or Roshi vs Jiren could be cool, or hell, scenes that we have seen but are too iconic to not mention, Vegeta killing Nappa, Goku awakens Super Saiyan, Yamcha does- er... that time he... Gohan's transformation into Great Saiyaman!

We really need moments for Vegeta to just, pop off. Like when Avengers get teleported to a barren wasteland by the enemy and they just say "Yo, collateral damage isn't an issue? OK Hulk go nuts" and he proceeds to commit 74 war crimes through sheer brutality. Vegeta needs to have moments where he fights a guy and they become isolated and Vegeta says what he said here "No planet to save? Just the promise of an all out fight to the death? *Sure sucks to be you right now."* Then he proceeds to make mince meat out of his opponent. Not having this happen all the time, just enough to stop it being the Goku show.

This transformation really fits Vegeta's character and his development very well. This scene was epic in the manga and as a motion comic it gets elevated even more. I am so excited to see it in anime's and movies in the future it going to be astonishing to watch. Also can you imagine the fun new gaming mechanics that they can test out with this form in Dragon ball games.

I mean, in a sense, both MUI and Ultra Ego are forms that simply rely on instinct, not only that but they complement each other well, while MUI allows Goku to use his instinct to avoid attacks and land devastating blows, UE let's Vegeta get stronger by taking damage, not only that but it complements their fighting styles really well
