After looking at your High Res photos on flickr I'm relieved that the middle section of the wings on your kit had bad separation as well. I thought about cementing and filling it in but I may just leave it as is and paint it

One more bad thing with this kit is the way the gundam holds his weapon. You can rotate the beam scythe but it won't stay in place as compared to the other one that has slots for the pegs on the hands to hold it in place.

@garrison778 the mg wing gundam's innerframe is the base for all of the new gundam wing mg's, with minor alterations of course.

@ernestoprv1 The Wing gundam EW is just a re-issue of the Wing gundam Ver Ka....except with new hands(?) and a display plug that attaches to the backskirt. ...or at least that is what I heard...

the inner frame looks almost identical to the MG Wing gundam

It was shown in his painting video. He did it by placing masking tape over the parts where he wanted the digital camo, then airbrushed over them.

You can, but you'll either break them or it will be come very loose and just fall apart, it's made for posing not playing

If I'd get this one, I'd be so tempted to hide a batman symbol somewhere, not in direct sight, but just if you would really look well, you'd spot it. Anyway looks very very good. The digital camo on the cloak looks fairly good as an effect.

I have 5 Gundam model kits, 4 HG, 1 RG, all in 1/144 scale, and they were a pain in my rear end to put the decals/stickers on. I'll never do 1/144 scale again, so I needed something like this to inform me of whether the 1/100 scale is a lot easier to handle as far as size in hand. I'd much prefer this in 1/60 scale, but my understanding is that Bandai only reserves that for a few Gundams like the RX-78 2.

Such a nice kit.... Didn't like it when I first saw the mono-color prototype, but the colors are awesome. I have this kit on my want list, but I really have to finish at least 10-12 more kits before I can think of even getting it. These EW kits seem to get better and better. I just saw Epion in the May Issue of Hobby Japan and it looks like it's even better in my opinion. When you painted the eyes and cameras in clear colors, were you doing that for future lighting or just for the effect?

@vegeta8259 Yeah I like Katoki's designs but sometimes they make no sense. Like why does the Wing Ver Ka's shield not have a camera. It can't see.

does it come with a base or not? nice review deff helped me in desiding what gunpla to do next. I still preffer the TV series design over the EW design. With the yellow on the torso resembling ribs, the scythe having 2 beams and having more one of those beam thing i think the ew deathscythe has. also the nice details on the head. Its a shame bandai hasnt made a MG of that design :/

my biggest complaint is that the head was impossible to to keep together so i had to glue the head together so it wouldn't fall apart. The red sides would pop out and the head itself would split if u moved it. and same for the grey mouth part would come lose also cause the ball joint pushes up against it when u move the head. doesnt seem to have enough places to connect on the top of the head. and it does seem smaller then my other 1/100

It has a huge difference. It's kinda hard to explain but take a closer look to the torso, scythe, and the bat wings between Hell and Hell EW.
