Hey Henry I would like your opinion on this. I'm thinking of making a resin cast of Epyon's heat whip and modifying it with connection pieces. I want to use it to extend the dragon fang further. Do you think Shenlong's arm is strong enough to support the fang, with so much leverage weight? I'm also going to use the clear effect parts from bandai to make flames for the fang. I would really appreciate the feedback.

For some reason it just looks to naked for me without the green gems on the shoulders. It would have gave the suit a subtle look, especially since the dragon fang isn't that impressive to me. I like the design but it could of been smaller, which would have allowed for a way better extension since it can hold that thing up with no problem. Nice model but it's the last of the wing series on my list.

I think your a highly skilled model kit builder. When I get this kit I planned on making custom flames to fit in the nozzles on the dragon head. Since your so good at building Gundams I think you should try to make flames out of the plastic from the runners. You should experiment and make a video for it so others who have the same idea can learn how to to it themselves. Plus your painting skills are amazing so your flames will probably look cool and realistic. Let me know what you think about it

@vegeta8259 That's actually more clever than what I thought it would involve. I'll definitely give it a try. I need to finish up HG Tallgeese though. Which reminds me of another question I had for you; I saw your review of the old HG Tallgeese, and since I'm building original version with my kit as well, I wanted to find out how you filled in the panel lines for the eagle crest. Did you use putty to fill the lines, or was there something else involved?

@vegeta8259 If they made a talgeese i think it would sell quite well. I hope it is the Talgeese III and they include parts for the other 2, like what they did with the HG kits. Another excuse though to give it a 50$ plus price tag. Great review by the way. amazing work. Airbrushing it really makes a difference.

@BlitzkriegOmega given the popularity of Heavy Arms, I'd have to say Sanndrock will be next. Just to catch a couple more saild by wing hungry fans that are waiting for the HA. I get the feeling that Bandai is banking on alot of people's wing thirst to be quenched by Heavy arms, so they are holding it off for last.

With the release of the Gundam Wing and Wing EW Master Grades do you think they will make a MG Wing Zero Custom 2.0? The old one is still a fantastic kit so I doubt it but 2011 standards with a kit like that would be something worth keeping your fingers crossed for

Hi how did you paint the white parts to look so great? I mean it looks realistic, plus there is a kind of a gray shadow on the white parts, I noticed it also on the red and blue, where the color goes darker near the edges. Any tips of your technique?

this kit is epic, at first i was questioning it cause the arm with the dragon fang doesnt move into the streachout motion, but that new shield and that huge body of the dragon fang make up for that. i fricken love nataku dude!!!!!

@suiton629 Hopefully they'll work out any weight problems with the fangs out by then. I really can't wait to see how they'll make the connecting arms for the dragon fangs, considering how far they have to extend.

@statszero1 No, this version does not have an extension part you can install. Henry is very thorough in his reviews, and would have mentioned it if there were such a part. Pay attention, I promise these answers are in the video.

the tv version shenlong was my least favorite of the 5 gundams and i don't know if its just this redesign or your wonderful paint job (probably both ^_^), but this guy looks incredible and i am very tempted to pick him up

this design of shenlong i probably my fav. after the tv ver. i dont like the ew manga designs but i think this is the only one i like and i will be picking one of these kits up.

Just a question, but does your paint job have "battle-damage"? Because some parts don't look like it's just one colour but a peices with some gray shading.

@jjyurful what i mean about the nataku custom is the 1/144 scale of it too. it extend. but it has extra piece to install, to extend it.

This kit looks really fantastic, and I can't wait to work on it myself. One neat idea I had for the dragon fang (since I agree that it is the one weak point to the kit) was to scratch make some flames to come out of it's flamethrower barrels. I probably won't be able to do this myself (I have no idea how to go about it, only that I'm sure it can be done), but maybe some talented modelers out there could run with the idea. Amazing paint job as always, V, and thanks for the tutorial vids!!

Well the master grades are 1/100 scale and run about 8 inches in height on average.

Hhmmm.. the shenlong EW looks great, but it does lose a lot of its chinese exterior. I, personally, wish that the EW version was a little more conservative. The head of the original, chest, arms and legs of the original truly fit better with the style they were going for. Still a very pretty kit though
