When I was a kid in the late 60s and most of the 70s, my dad used to plant potatoes in his huge garden (I'm the baby of eight kids.) He had a hand that was our potato cutter. When I was about 10, my pony got out and nearly made himself sick eating the seed potatoes. Since I was not yet in the habit of closing the pasture gate securely, and I was the reason my pony was out, I got to be the seed cutter. My pony lived, so did I, and I never left the gate open again. It's a good memory that has me smiling just thinking about it.

Okay Andrew, you finally did it. I did vegetable farming for over 40 years so pretty much everything you guys do is familiar to me. Except we didn't do many potatoes and I have actually never seen a machine like you had that cut the large seed potatoes! Pretty cool. In your intro sometime you should have Callie moving her lips and have someone do a voiceover saying "I'm Callie"!

I love all the machinery.. Not only a device to plant the potatos that pre-fertilizes too, but then there's a machine just for sorting and cutting larger potatos.

In light of current food shortages, rumors of future shortages, etc it makes one really appreciate all the effort your family puts in not only growing food but the plants you sell enabling others to grow their own food. I know you try to keep your channel pretty light hearted, but do you ever feel the need to address the whole food security issue? That if people would consider some form of home preservation they would not be so dependent on the grocery stores....
