Can't believe that it pops up as an Fduce SL40 when you plug it in :) Great review as always.

Not surprised, it happens all the time with budget action cameras, all made at the same factory just rebranded.

Hello, I bought the VeGue microphone, due to in Amazon Mx the price of VeGue (2,539.25 MXP) is almost 900 Mexican Pesos less versus Fduce SL40 (3,403.19 MXP) a big difference almost 43 USD, and I tought to myself, it would be the same microphone, but without a brand on the side. For me, it is better that way. Now with your video I can confirm my theory, that it is the same microphone unbranded. Thanks for your video.

I always wanted to get an XLR mic for background noise cancellation and the crisp sound it gives but the prices were insanely high, I absolutely love this mic cant wait until they become available in iran
@AnythingLoud2 жыл бұрын
Just because a microphone has XLR output does not give it superior background noise reduction. What you want is a dynamic microphone, which both of the microphones in the video are. Dynamic microphones pick up much less background noise compared to condenser microphones.

Exactly the video i was looking for. These look the exact same but I like that one has no branding on it

Call me crazy but cranking my headphone up all the way and jumping back and forth between the mics I can hear a difference, very very minimal tho. The main difference I hear in the noise floor, The VeGue has a noise floor you can audibly hear if your listening for it. The Fduce has a very low almost inaudible noise floor. The last thing ive notice atleast to my ears is that the VeGue sounds slightly hollow in the mid to lower end. ALtho i might just be crazy here. But for sure the noise floor is different.

What kind of a PC camera do you have? Just curious? and do you recommend XLR over USB?
@shortanimationz2 жыл бұрын
Thoughts on this vs the MV7X? I don't care at all about the USB features as I'd be plugging it into a WaveXLR, but I'm weary that this is just some Chinese knockoff of the MV7 and not a wise investment.

Hi there, great content, may I ask you, what about the pop filter, is it so thin like the Shure mv7, thanks
@LowDoughTech2 жыл бұрын
I've never had any experience with the MV7, so I can't speak on that. The foam filter for these mics is about 1/2 inch thick.

Hey, I bought the fduce sl40 and the sound is really weak even though I increased the gain on the microphone, how can I get good sound in the game?
@KillinMeSchmalz2 жыл бұрын
Assuming you are using XLR, you’ll need phantom power and I suggest a sabrent card to add extra power

Hey, I really need your thoughts on this; do you prefer the fduce or Samson Q2U , im buying it for streaming but I really enjoying have good sound without ANY background sound, which one would you recommend
@LowDoughTech2 жыл бұрын
It's a tough call. The Q2U is really clear, but the Fduce is dark, like really dark. I wanted something darker than the Q2U to help cut a lot of the harsh sibilance out of my voice, but I think the Fduce is boomy, but still left a lot of that sibilance. I ended up getting a Samson Q9U which I prefer over both of them, it's currently down to only $99, and it does what I need it to do with cutting sibilance...but I'm on a tangent and not answering your question, haha. If I had to choose, personally, I would pick the Fduce over the Samson Q2U, but I still LOVE the Q2U.
@forever20392 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the response , It really helped! I might still go with the Q2U because of it being a USB mic as well as being a XLR mic do you think Its worth it or should I save up and go for the XLR,,, 2) While searching through different online shops I’ve come across the mic “AT2020” have you tried it and if yes do you recommend it its not much cheaper but its still an option,,,, all that aside thank you for the content and information you share , definitely one of the highest quality content creators out there I hope you succeed in whatever path you choose in life ❤️

What's the difference SL40 vs SL40x yes i know SL40 got buttons that they don't even work with xlr so you pay more only for buttons and headphone jack ? or should i spend 14 $ more and go with the SL40 ? was looking for videos about these two microphones and the sound but there is none
@ebentechstudio4 ай бұрын
Sl40 has xlr and usb type-c port and button controls but sl40x has no usb type-c and buttons. Sl40+ is same as sl40 but doesn't come with xlr cable instead it has a boom arm stand
