Agreed. I taught myself basic bodywork on my parent's average cars. Its sweet when you can find matching painted used body parts and fix it yourself. I'll do most anything that doesnt involve frame pulling, welding or paint.

@@vehcor I knew a rebuilder a decade ago that did 90% early 2000s Impalas. He'd buy a bunch and have a body shop assemble a few good ones out of them. You save a lot of money when you have your own parts bin, much like you do. Paintwork wasnt always top notch, but they sold like hot cakes even with rebuilt titles. People need cheaper reliable cars far more than rebuilt exotics.

*Since i work away from home now and i don't get to run all of my vehicles as much now, i have an awesome battery tender solution that i use for ALL of my vehicles and it' super cheap too. i use the $13.99 solar panels from harbor freight on all 3 of my Escalades, my 99 Tahoe, and my 06 dodge Cummins and no matter how long it's been when i get in them and turn them over, theey crank right up every time. (link below) LMAO, "new two piece design shocks" are those like Air rides? RESPECT! Your "Cross fitter" haandled that Earthquake XT like a BOSS! my wife can't even do theat after working in a factory for 6 1/2 years. it just flies right out of her hands. So backing off of trailers isn't her thing? she did much better than my first few attempts. i was alright once i realized you pull it on straight and off is just more of the same, no wheel turning needed. I like tht you have the rear stabilizer jacks in your trailer too makes unloading t even when unhooked MUCH easier like that. HEY! i have that earthquake ratchet too! Also thanks to my work have the much more stout Miluakee version of it also now. (i love being able to expense out tools to the company on their dime) Learned that door closing thing from my dad before i ever started driving. he used to do that to my mom just to aggravate her when she would leave it open on purpose to load thins in the **car.lol* HF Solar panel battery tender: www.harborfreight.com/15-watt-solar-battery-charger-62449.html?_br_psugg_q=solar+panel

This is professional quality in my book and can never quite articulate how impressed I am with someone with these kind of skills. It's dude's like this that make America great. Everything I rebuilt always included a can of parts that I had no idea where they went or where they came from. Nothing I ever completed was anywhere near as good as it was before it broke. However I could explain to you the intricacies of the "Things to be seized," Warrant requirement under the 4th Amendment set forth in Stanford v. The nice thing about this build is the parts truck left overs, and that is the great thing about a parts truck if you can manage to do as many as possible out of a parts truck, its drops the build costs way down and that means more money in your pocket. Funny thing the Yukon doesnt have a lot of options but for as many people that want one with all the options there are those that don't because they dont want to deal with the tings that stop working. Engine sounds good, nice and clean inside, someone cared for it, and that helps make it an easy buy and hopefully an even better flip. My wife was very impressed with crosstrainer she was surprised she got that tire up and on didnt break a nail, and what was really funny, my wife had the same reaction that crosstrainer did the first time I had her back a truck off a trailer...I had to laugh at that, and the wife was like, yeah I remember doing that. I remember the wife was climbing into the truck and she was like, what is something happens to it when I am backing it off and something gets damaged? And I was like, but its already wrecked, the only thing that could wreck it more was if it fell off on to its side... now at the time I dint think anything of that remark but she was like what! I better not do this, it's a terrible idea... and I was like you will be fine... and yup same scream when it was rolling down the ramp... that first dip down always gets her. See the GMC did the towing and an 11 hour trip she must have done well I am sure you are enjoying the new to you wheel ( well till someone likes it more than you to buy it...which we know will happen sooner or later..lol

Sometime you buy parts for the builds you have and sometimes you buy builds for the parts you have. I have sold quite a few parts off the Yukon as well as using some. My goal is to have no leftovers and that leads to maximum profits. This was she first time backing off the trailer, next time I will probably have to keep her from jumping in before me. lol The Dirtnali is the best truck I have ever owned. 8,000 miles on it so far and I have no complains except that I want a sunroof. lol I have not finished it purposely so that the vultures can't buy it. lol Once I do, I might have to say goodbye.

Love this channel. Probably my favorite cuz it's actual cars average people can relate to and rebuild. I'm not rebuilding a wide body Ferrari anytime soon, although, that is entertainment. You're daughter reminds me of mine. She's 19, into Xfit, and ASE Certified. Yup. She got certified at 17, but couldn't send in for the certificate until she was 18. She was too in her class for Auto Mechanic in the school shop....this school shop was rated #1 in 3 states. She was #1 and then became the Teachers Assistant for to the influx of students. Anyway, I've introduced her to new and scary tools. She has the EXACT face yours has while using Mr. Air Chisel. Yes, Chisel, MR., Air Chisel. We're actually rebuilding a 1992 Cadillac Sedan Devile I got from Copart Tuscon for the OTD price if $277! Yup. That's pretty cheap, considering the thing runs amazing. Has Ice Cold AC and was a ONE OWNER in Sedona it's whole life. Now I'm boring you. So, gotta go. Just keep up the "realness" of your channel. Thanks Vehcor. I do have your sticker proudly stick to my 1 ton E350 van from auction! Hahahaha 🥴
@vehcor

Thanks, I started the channel as a way to show buyers what I did to their car. I'm not trying to build a KZbin empire so I still spend my time on the builds, that is where I make the money. I will have a much harder time selling a supercar over an everyday car so that is what I build. The daughter is actually in grad school. She likes to learn new things and seems to find this stuff enjoyable and it will be good for her to have some mechanical skills when she is out on her own. You and your daughter keep up the good work! Thanks for the support.

Good afternoon Scott, wow for tangling with a truck and being resonably fair and rebuildable shape. I'm impressed. Looked at a couple of 2019 Honda Ridgeline that had a real bad fight when they got loose from the railway transporter. I'm pretty sure there Ridglines, but the jury is still out. And they have clear titles. Go figure. Have a great weekend.

I have seen some pretty bad semi hits, this one is a piece of cake. The shop I rent has fixed quite a few of the wrecked in transport cars then returned to the dealer lot as a new car. Ford had a few thousand that got destroyed in a hail storm. New roofs, windshields, glass, lights, hoods and some PDR and they were sold as new. It is funny when people think that buying off the dealer lot means that is it is perfect and just rolled off the assembly line. Not always! 😂 Have a great weekend!
