Insurance is a ripoff because they only use OEM parts even when the car is old. So a car which would cost £500 in used parts to repair costs £5000 in new. And that's assuming they can even get OEM parts, which most of the time they cant, so they write off a perfectly repairable car costing you a massive insurance premium!

stupidity at its best- there is a clear relationship between water covering the grills for more that 2 seconds and being hydro-locked. And those who drive slowly not to make water go over the grills survive. No car can compress water !

If the water is deeper than the lowest wheel rim (4 inches) it is too deep. Then drive at 1mph keep the revs high

That one car being pulled out apparently still had his car in forward gear as the rear wheels were going the opposite direction as the car was being pulled!! Not the sharpest knife in the drawer!
