18:00 the turner universal one is nice and has larger capicity and a filter you can take out and clean. No leaks when you run a oil filter cap o ring on it.

Chris you remind me of the owner of the service center i take my 2015 x3 35i to for maintenance. Though 1 maybe 2 big differences between the 2 of you. 1 that is for sure is he is and owns a certified repair shop for bmws thus has all that bmw software locenses and all. Then not sure about this. Not same vehicle, but he did a manual swap on a x5. Went from auto to manual. Then the other one being number 2 is he is either from north or south Africa. Cant remember for sure which. But the cool laid back chill attitude and charter reminds me of him so much.

If the vents are oriented opposite of the drill lines, they are correct. Most vents are oriented the same direction as the drill and slots, so its normally the opposite of what you see in video. Its for cooling to catch and disperse heat, it wouldnt work if its rotating with backward vents

I wish you’d keep those wheels and powdercoat them. Everything else along with it, the M bumpers and all, will look so good once painted. That’s exactly how I visioned my pre-LCI E92, and now I just need the M rear bumper. (on my IG if you’re curious, the walkaround on my channel was before everything was done)

You have to tighten the hydro bush / brake control arm while under load or you increase the wear and get a horrible noise when driving.

What's the capability of the stage 2 turbo on the n55 what kind of power can y expect from it.

My only question is wether or not you guys primed the engine before the initial startup after all the parts were installed, cause to me it sounded like you guys didn't and dry started the new turbo. Im a BMW Dealer Tech and this happens a lot mainly when doing oil filter housing gasket repairs, and have seen a lot of mechanics cause premature internal damage to the engine. In this case I just hope you guys did prime the oil for the turbo to not cause premature wear to such an expensive component.

As a mechanic who does clutches every day, kind of saddened me not seeing the flywheel get machined/ replaced. But yes, I use Exedy clutches and I also machine flywheels and even if they look okay, you'd be amazed at how badly warped the surface gets.

Hey can anyone answear this. 4:40 is how i had my car, changed springs then put it back. i only did one side. now it srives perfectly straight but the steering wheel is not straight(left side of steering wheel down by 1inch maybe) what do i adjust or change to make steering wheel straight again. help someone i am new to this mechanic stuff.

The reason one is a 17 and the other is a 16 nut is because no tool kit has two of the same size in the same kit so in actuality they have made it easier for you

Why 17 and 16 next to each other? I don't know the exact reason but I would say because not everyone has 2x 16mm wrench? Yes, you could use a 16mm wrench and a 16mm socket, but maybe there is not enough room for a socket? I donno
