Ight so a few things to address 1- how u gonna leave us hanging without knowing what the cleaning liquid was? 2- the car sounds better at a standstill reviving with the valves closed 3 it sounds better under load (while driving) with the valves open sounds dope but I need that liquid formula to clean my 190xxx miles brake dust embedded wheels that I just bought

I always take the subframe out when installing sals headers. it helps to have a 14mm 1/4 swivel.

Put a filter pre power steering pump it will slow down how fast it goes bad I had problems on e46 and e90s from sliding them around and then it gets slosh in side the pump sends metal threw the system and back in the pump and the filter slows down how fast the pump goes bad

All u have to do to avoid some of the issues u encountered and will encounter like many of new and old owners of this type of car is to take the time and read the manual and to make sure ur battery is always topped off anything lower than 12.3 u have to go through the rejuvenation process and revive battery. New owners keep treating these cars like a regular cari but n reality they need some tlc and have to maintained and to through a process if u want to keep enjoying the car or don't mind replacing a lot of parts. btw u can have the headers jet hot coated instead for that heat issue.

You have to ask yourself....what can you buy that sounds as good as an s85 that is more reliable? People bang on about running costs, but everything else with a V10 will cost more. Way, way more.

@Yahboishaboss I spent about 5k in 4 years on my e46 m4 then sold it at basically no loss. Rod bearings, head gasket, subframe, usual stuff. E60 is less problematic than the E46. I was genuinely thinking about getting an E62 M6 as its replacement, but tbh, I'd had enough of older cars so got an F83 instead, with BMW dealer warranty 🤣

We installed one side with the subframe installed just to see if it was possible, and then we dropped the subframe to make it easier for the other side.
