The voiceovers didn’t bother me too much but the tone was goofy, like introducing an action film at the movie theatre. Just use your regular speaking voice. One thing that does bother me though is continuity. For example, I don’t like seeing paint correction and then PPF removal. I like to see the steps shown as they happen in the shop. You guys are the most detailed detailing channel on YT. I love watching your transformations.
@IAMDetailing Жыл бұрын
I wish I can say we will use our voice (my accent is bad and I don’t like to hear myself) 🥴 we will try experiment with different voice. About the continuity, I 100% agreed with you and trust me, I personally spending so much time to watch each video and try to prevent this… the biggest problem is we have a few video editors in the team and not all of them see what we see… second thing is not easy for them to organize the footage since we using more phones for recording and sometimes get mix of newer clips with older once because the file names. We will try to be better 😉 Thank you for watching Jakub
@darrenpitts4521 Жыл бұрын
great comment and reply. the shop is experimenting with various techniques, which is good. the editing of this specific is great because it covers 2 service events over the course of the last 2 years! As the owner of this M5, I was surprised to see un-published clips of previous work included in the PPF service from last month. The editing was superb! Aside from the detailing work itself, many of the cars this shop restores/ transforms, etc. are "rolling stories" with rich histories. My suggestion has always been to "tell us a little something about the cars." We can see what is being done to them, but they're more than just a piece of metal that needs to be polished! :)

This is good data! Okay, did you prefer some sort of talking in just the intro about the car/project, or maybe at the end, or none at all - would love if the upvotes chimed in too! We’re trying to figure out what our regulars want to see. The other option ive played with is having one regular video (with no talking, what youre all used to seeing from us for a couple years) and one where we experiment, show more about the shop, etc

I for one prefer the talking as it helps me get more perspective about what is going on in the video and gives me cool information for example this M5 being one of the last out of production, I like that. However sometimes it does come across in a way the you say things like you’re talking over an action movie trailer, probably just the tone of your voice I don’t know 😂Nonetheless, great video! 👌🏼

I find it fascinating how a car can get taken care of so much just because of what's under the hood. This and many other e60 m5s gets treated like supercars yet an e60 525i of the same year with some of the same options and color combo gets treated worse than an old camry😂

The cars that this shop does are "rolling stories" and not just pieces of metal. People (some of whom call themselves enthusiasts) want to know a little bit about the cars he's detailing. So voiceovers are a great way to do that. There are plenty of sites that will show you "how" to detail a car - this site is better than those sites. If you prefer the other sites, enjoy.

@@iansetters248 there are probably NO (repeat NO) very high-performance cars that are problem free (perhaps with the exception of my Porsche 911). Reliability does not equal problem free. Guys and Gals that buy used, high-performance cars of all types know this. Preventive maintenance is what makes these cars "reliable." By using the term "we" I can only think that might include good people who love beating the hell out of the car (which can be fun) but then start crying when something expensive breaks! The cost of purchasing one of these OLD cars is fool's Gold when compared to operating this car. Hope this clarifies.
