I cant believe this, but after reading all the comments about these guys gaining a 'periphery sound', I cant prove them wrong (and its killing me). They have lost a little of themselves. Whatever drove them to bring in the cleans was probably thought out and tested well. But for allot of veil fans this change is a breaking point. And im on the fence for now. guess i am a scared old man, confused by the world changing around him. I worry for the future of this genre, And this scene with its followers.

The periphery sounding parts actually sound really nice in context with the rest of the album and I was hating them before... in context it sounds less like periphery and more like a super hard version of Dream Theater...
