As someone who kept pulling out chroma rush and wanting them to give me a good update to the gun with better perks I was happy to see this gun crop up. The perk pool is a little lacking, but after seeing the origin trait go, I realized it kinda had to be! The weapon model is so unique and cool, reminds me of a vex mytho revamp. I do kinda wish the scope like down into the weapon or something when you weren’t ADS just to take up a bit less vertical space cause it is a bit annoying. I’ve been looking forward to getting the pattern or good roll on this so I can put together a fun little stasis build for it. I just wish running the seasonal activity wasn’t as boring as it was, depending on which activities you get it is VERY slow paced and when you try to take a second to harvest the materials you end up with a zoomer teammate who just ends up pulling you into the boss immediately. It says a lot that I would rather play the Overthrow in the Pale Heart over the activity this season.

100% do it on expert (its matchmaking). You get 2 extra chests at the end and the only difficult part is in the beginning as you're against a timer but it's all relatively easy especially with a tether Hunter. The final encounter has no timer and no hard fail so you can keep brute forcing it even if you have mates that die. The materials are also super nice to get but besides the triumphs, the amount of loot you get with it is roughly equivalent of opening a chest and a half or so although great, I wouldn't sweat it.

depends on what you want out of it. subsistence to me isn't worth the tradeoff when I've got both Loose Change and Strategist on this to fully lean into the stasis debuff build potential. subsistence just loads ammo into the mag, but the reload on this is good already.

I made guides for the ones people were struggling with the most, gauging interest and demand on the fly. So I cranked out guides for the most difficult and challenging encounters, and by the time I finished those there was no longer enough demand for the 2 simplest encounters to justify all the time it would take to edit and upload those videos. I'm very proud of the guides I made and super happy with their reception, but the dropoff in raid guide views at this point is stark.

This gun is absolutely insane on Stasis titan. I've been maining it with full crystal creation loudout and infinite double surges with elemental charge. Near infinite on demand 0.67 ttk with crazy range with fragile focus. Heavily slept on fs

I actually prefer Attrition Orbs in this. It’s a rapid fire and generates then easily, on a Prismatic Warlock build this is non stop radiance. I just hate how I keep thinking it’s my sniper since I’m a sniper main.

Great review, this is definitely one I rushed to craft and struggled to find my favorite perk combinations for due to its somewhat unconventional options. I do think for Desperate Measures is actually pretty reasonable as it meaningfully affects TTK and forgiveness, but love the idea of just going deeper into Stasis synergy for it as well, as it certainly thrives there between the new fragments and benefits headstone brings to the table (plus free stability with enhanced!). Agree the gun model is way too chonky, really hoping Bungie does something about it as form is definitely creeping into function here.

This thing has felt amazing to me. I've been using div for the past few weeks in pvp, and this weapon stood out to me due to its ability to get over 65 handling (the threshold to reach 100 handling with ophidians), and I too went from zero drops to craftable over the course of a few hours. This thing has felt phenomenal to me. Because I use this for div blinting, most of my kills are precision kills, so I tried to boost its range as much as possible with fragile focus and encore, and that worked really well for me. That being said, I completely failed to notice headstone, and given that I'm div blinting, I am now really excited to try out headstone to turn my div bubbles into stasis crystals. Thanks for making me think about this, TV!

The amount of guardians who don't know how enhanced perks work is astounding. Pugilist, Demolitionist, & Strategist all give 10% ability energy to their respective abilities. ENHANCED versions of these perks give 11% ability energy. It's not much of a difference but it can be helpful depending on the level of ads you're dealing with

I've got one roll. Arrowhead, Accurized, Strategist and Headstone. Don't think i need to craft it tbh. Helps with the uptime of my solar buddy. I quite like it. If I'm Stasis you'd need to pry Verglas Curve from my cold, dead hands (pun intended).

I'm not sure why you think it kicks so hard. Just Extended Barrel for recoil control feels fine to me. In fact, it's probably one of the most stable Rapid-Fire Frame auto rifles that I've ever used and building into the range with it feels nuts to me. The only problem I have with it is facing peek-shooters in PvP, which is a normal problem when using this type of weapon. I think I might like it at base better than Rufus's Fury at base. And it definitely doesn't kick or flinch as hard as Krait (easily replaces that one for me).

I'm really enjoying Strategist + Collective Action in PvE with Prismatic. It's so easy to make elemental pickups that I can maintain the dmg amp and cycle through threaded specter/wintershroud

Same roll for my Vesper of Radius/Frostpulse Warlock. Tons of shards for defense, healing, melee energy, and damage for this gun. Fragments for getting more shards with Stasis weapons when you have Frost Armor and longer Armor with higher stacks and shards tracking to you. I add an arc energy like Kindness or Ergo Sum and some kind of hard hitting heavy and my Warlock has tons of arc and Stasis damage synergy.

@@Michael-ee4uz since Prismatic, I can definitely see Collective Action become a staple perk for PvP (archetype dependent) and PvE. It makes for a very relaxed dmg perk that is nearly perpetual in uptime

I run Collection (in PvE) when running Hoarafrost. Not only am I constantly at Frost Armor X10, but a damage boost to match. If I change over to Precious Scars (and become almost Unkillabe in PvE) then I'll just switch to Disparity.

Dude I really like this thing and its finally made my 'Krait the great' obsolete after years. A crafted roll with Headstone/Loose Change is so much fun. With one little legendary AR you can make and smash stasis crystals all over the place, get your reloading buff from it and at the same time the left over radiolarian pools (This is an S tier trait) continue damaging and mopping up ad's. Its a great Stasis AR.

You should give collective action a chance in pvp. Was watching Frostbolt use it to shatter his own glacier nade and get the damage buff plus 5x frost armor. Pretty strong.

People are sleeping on attrition orbs. With prismatic, you might need a build where the element of your weapon is not going to be matching your super. And since this isnt kinetic, its a 3 cost head slot. You can drop stasis orb generation in favor of attrition orbs, and still essentially have your weapon make orbs on kill, leaving room for additional super energy generation, or ammo generation.

im just gonna make a case for collective action as a stasis titan enthusiast, its very easy to generate shards in both pvp and pve using hoarfrost/stasis wall/howl of storm, and the upkeep is a fun minigame in of itself imo :)

Headstone is just one part of it, strategist keeps your ability cooled down faster meaning more slowing dodges for frostpulse rifts or hoarfrost barricades and that's a HUGE deal not to mention the area of affect denial of the radiolarian pools. It's good.

@@TrueVanguard while the other points are mostly solid, I wouldn't say hunter makes much use of it, if you're running slow dodge, you're already running a melee build which means you'll have infinite dodge already, and with 100 mobility, your dodge comes back in only a few seconds anyway if you miss. Titans will probably get the most use out of it, however I don't like headstone one fast firing weapons as the probability of getting a crit kill with such a high RPM is lowered.
